jackjack86
So, I know that in order to make a patch in the CK all your masters must be in the ESM format, not just flagged as ESM. When I am done making the patch what's the best/easiest route to take in resolving the references back to the ESP? LarannKiar
You can use ESM flagged .esp files as masters in the Creation Kit. But if you've already converted an esp to esm, in FO4Edit, you can rename the master from "XY.esm" to "XY.esp".

niston
You can also use the CK fixes mod.It will (among other things) let you master from esp files without stripping them on save.
