Custom follower mod

Hey all i decided i wanted to create my own follower to follow me aroound based off of LoL Olaf, a crazy nord running around lightly armoured and dual wielding axes, i only have one problem so far and that is i cant actually get him to follow me, i was wondering how this was done.

In CK under 'Factions" tab, right click in the Factions and Ranks block and select new. A pop up appears, type in follower in the search box and pick Current Follower Faction. it will automatically placed in the other box. Now the important part, there will be a 0 under Rank, that has to be changed to -1. Right click in the box again and pick Potential Follower Faction, nothing has to be changed. If you want him as a marriage candidate, right click in the box and add Potential Marriage Candidate

 

On other thing you might have to do if you have already met him is either go back to a save before you met him is un-tick his esp and make a clean save, but not in the location he is going to appear in when you make his esp active again.

I have done all of that, except he just didnt have any dialogue actions at all

Make sure you gave him a voice type used by other followers and add the defaultAllowPCDialogue script to his scripts.

I agree with budcat. The voice types are very important. To be sure, try using the MaleEvenToned or the MaleYoungEager voice. Since you aren't getting any dialogue options whatsoever, this is probably the issue.
