Site Bot
Article link: Xfire Fix Hey everyone! After a lot of searching (which involved http://www.tesnexus.com/articles/article.php?id=138" target="_blank">this article by WoogieMonster), I decided to try to find a way to fix it. I finally found a method, which was posted in the xfire forums. Either way, I've made a video to help anyone who is still having issues. Typed instructions below. 1. Open your Oblivion folder(Generally C:Program FilesBethesda SoftworksOblivion) 2. Right-click on Oblivion.exe and select Properties... 3. Open the Compatibility tab. 4. Check the 'Disable Visual Themes' box. Apply and hit OK. You're done!
phforNZ
You might also need to do the above Compatibility tweak to the following files (located in the same folder as Oblivion.exe):* OblivionLauncher.exe* OblivionModManager.exe (if you have it)* obse_loader.exe (if you have it) I had to do this to get my Xfire working properly ingame. [The above information was gathered from the Xfire forums, after I finally broke down and asked for help]
