Riven1978 Posted February 1, 2009 Share Posted February 1, 2009 Okay, after going through all the vault 101 cells in the geck, i have come to this list of inhabitants, and possible story extensions?(at least when i tried going through killing as few people as possible): Alphonse Almodovar(The OverSeer) - daughter Amata Almodovar(New OverSeer) Officer Gomez and Pepper Gomez - Freddie Gomez (son) Ellen Deloria - Butch who leaves the vault and can be found in muddy rudder. (would it be right to assume that if the player doesn't take butch on his journeys that butch may return to the vault for failure to do anything worthwhile outside? Mary Holden and Tom Holden - These two are a toss up between them and the two officers in the tunnel Officer Richards and Officer O'Brian you can save/spare either ones so i would like to hear others thoughts on this. Officer Taylor - Dead wife Grandma Taylor (heart attack) so winds up cutting you slack since you had nothing to do with her death after all, Doesn't hold you at fault for Chips Death either since (assumed) he was killed by a radroach. Security Chief Hannon - Still Blames you for the death of his son Paul Hannon, But works for Amata; That makes him at least tolerable of you on your return Old Lady Palmer - Gets reunited with Anne Palmer, her daughter (found in the wastelands, if you find her that is) and the both grieve for Jonas Officer Park and Officer Wolfe at the end of the escape quest can be avoided if you just leave the vault so thats 2 more for the new vault but other then being security i need to come up with a story line and maybe even a romance from one of the new coming females? ;) Officer Wilkens - wife Janice and son Jim dead hates you with a passion. No idea one an extension for him Edwin Brotch - training Susie Mack to take over as a Teacher (from GOAT Exam) Christine Kendall - Mourns the death of her mother Mary and her little sister Monica that died in a fire. Training under her grandfather Stanley in maintenance (GOAT Exam) Officer John Kendall - took about 20-25 tries but i was finally able to get past him before i was attacked during the escape so I need an extension story for him (is Christine's dad) Allen Mack - Truly hates the PC, next in line for overseers chair(if you kill overseer); blames you for the deaths of son Steve, daughters Mary and Beatrice (killed by ANDY) and granddaughter Monica. I was thinking he was the most likely leader to the anti-Player Faction in the lower levels of the Vault (in the final product) that will come to be the antagonists Gloria Mack - Allen's wife - i figure we can have her go loopy from the deaths of so many of her family or something, maybe just wandering the halls of the vault with a blank look on her face Susie Mack - Training under Mr Brotch to take over as the teacher, also dating/married to Freddie Gomez (lunch date after the GOAT went well i take it) Wally Mack - Susie's brother - hate PC as well so maybe head up the organization with his old man Allen I do believe that that includes everyone, if not feel free to post someone i may have missed. Any one that has nothing beside thier name or i didnt mention something about then i really have no clue as to an extension storyline for. Also if you think one of my extensions is way off or have a better one for them Please post. I am trying to make the vault as true to the Vanilla feelings that bethesda had to as to not totally seem out of place in the new vault. One final note i am looking for a SCRIPTER (mainly for the dialog) to Teach me step by step how to do it, i have yet to understand from any of the tutorials i have seen (maybe i am just dense, or looking too much into it) You teach me just one and i am sure i can get the hang of it from there Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
AdanRyder Posted February 1, 2009 Share Posted February 1, 2009 Interesting idea. So what your trying to do is so that there's more to Vault 101 when you return rather then JUST that one Mission? I believe i explained all in my read me of what i want to accomplish with it but if not as always comments questions and concerns are always welcome. Guess you could say i have hit sort of a "MODDERS" Block, on hte direction to go with the inhabitants. I have already started with the first one, Amata, and am wondering who else of the list should or should not be included for one reason or another. zip2k4 Posted February 2, 2009 Share Posted February 2, 2009 I'd guess it would be nice to have a new place rather just the original vault 101 since you can bring the wholeplace down when you responded to the emergency call from amata. I'd suggest going south a little there's a good open place there and it's not too far from Vault 101 and megatonassuming they want to create trades with megaton and still misses the vault 101. they can even have the town made from parts of vault 101, just because they misses vault 101. Riven1978 Posted February 4, 2009 Author Share Posted February 4, 2009 That is all well and good but i just never did like the fact that you couldn't go back into Vault 101 even after you went thru and did everything you could to end the situation amicably. Yes i am aware that this wont be a mod for everyone, especially those who decided to destroy the chip or kill everyone in it. For those people all i could say is expand on your idea like i am doing with this one. In my humble opinion even if i had an evil character i never understood why you would destroy your home or the lives of those you grew up with for all of those years...meh, maybe that's just me though Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
