making armor ignore other armors in geck

so, I was editing some armors and was wondering if there's any way to make a armor ignore other armor,for example using a backpack mod but another mod is using the biped object of backpack,is there any way to make the other mod ignore the backpack?

go and look at the mod Underwear, it creates underwear that ignores all other armors and comes standard on all npc's, as well as a couple of other features you could learn from. that should give you a guide.

Move the backpack to another body slot that isn't used by something from another mod. There are a handful not used in the vanilla game.
