Name: Volanare

Race: Altmer Vampire (Aundae)

Gender: Male

Age: 565

Appearance: Being very tall, as all Altmer, Volanare stands at about 6'6 in height. Soft and smooth golden skin covers his long and slender, but well muscled body. Volanare looks youthful, an Altmer who somewhat recently came into adulthood. Faintly glowing orange eyes peer in a predatory way at his surroundings. A very handsome and exotic (to non Mer) face with chiseled features tops a long, swan-like neck with short, but slightly upswept pale blond hair.

Skills: Destruction, Mysticism, Alteration, Long Blade, Conjuration, Acrobatics, Athletics, Illusion, Short Blade, Speech

Equipment: Volanare wears outfits of Altmeri fashion (some rather outdated ones from his original time, which, by Altmeri standards, are quite old and others right up to date). His favourite type of outfits are rather form fitting with light colours, sometimes with a light, gauzy sheer draped over his shoulders or a light cloak; another favourite is a layered look of light colours. Whenever he must walk in the daylight, he always wears a full bodied robe with a deep cowel of gold with bold sapphire markings on it.

Volanare has a longsword that soultraps once it cuts flesh as well as a dagger that is laced with poison; all of Altmer make.

Homeland: Originally from a village near Shimmerene.

Personality: Charismatic and witty, Volanare is very secretive, yet inquisitive.

Background: When Volanare joined the Mages Guild, he traveled across many places in Tamriel. His studies took him to High Rock, Cyrodiil, Valenwood and eventually to Morrowind. In Morrowind, however, Volanare came to study something he found fascinating- the vampire clans of Morrowind, especially the Aundae clan.

As his studies into Mysticism, Destruction and Conjuration deepened, he became ever closer to actually finding a member of the fabled Aundae Clan when one day, in the dark of night, a female Altmer approached him with a proposal: "We know, Volanare. Join your true family and realize your true purpose in the All. Come with me to find the Light in the Darkness. Or join with the All this night."

And so Volanare the Vampire was sired in the tomb of Ashmelech but a few nights later. With his new unlife, Volanare began to study even deeper into his chosen fields of magic as well as learning Necromancy and Illusion, becoming very adept in them in a few short decades as well as practicing his skill with long and short blades.

During the late Fourth Era, the vampire clans of Morrowind went to war with each other, destroying much. Though the Aundae clan suffered losses, they were the least affected of the clans and quickly rebuilt and fortified their strength.

The Aundae clan faced very little troubles during the Oblivion Crisis, though they did work to shut down any nearby Daedric activity or observe it carefully. Volanare and a few others of his kindred even ventured into the plane of Mehrunes Dagon a few times to capture souls, artifacts, ingredients and a few sigil stones.

Then came the Red Year. The devastation reached all of Vvardenfell and did not leave the vampire clans unscathed. Great waves battered the Sheogorad region and flooded many of the islands closest to Vvardenfell. Worried about their proximity to the main island, the Aundae clan gathered all of their things and abandoned their old stronghold. Moving westward, the Aundae clan resettled in Ald Redaynia, the abandoned Altmer/Aldmeri wizard tower of the Merethic era.

After clearing the tower of any unnecessary inhabitants, the Aundae settled in quite nicely. After gathering any surviving slaves from the other parts of Sheogorad, especially any Nords from Dagon Fel, they set them to work on restoring much of the tower. Now, Ald Redaynia stands as if it were nearly unchanged, the Aundae guiding the Dunmer and Nord slaves on how to build it, with the Dunmer doing most of the creative work and building while the Nords did the hefty work.

Eventually, some stability returned to Sheogorad and some of the Aundae returned to Ashemelech, repopulating it. The Aundae stand strong once again, though they are not aware of what happened to the Quarra and Berne clans at large.

I'm not sure where the rp is right now, but I'd love to squeeze in my character. He could be doing just about anything, really, especially if it's research related.

Hmm. I could catch you up, but really, the RP is so short right now, you should have no troubles reading it and picking a path. There are basically two major groups, and you're probably interested in the one at Labyrinthian.

Nice sheet, welcome aboard! :)

Probably because they have little interaction with others. You'll have to actively get your characters in conversations and interactions with other people's characters if you want direct attention.

Please bear in mind that I have never played Skyrim (my computer won't run it) and most of my familiarity with The Elder Scrolls comes from Oblivion and its modding community. As such, my character's backstory may conflict with established lore; please don't hesitate to correct me.

Name: Willis ra Teremolve

Race: Imperial/Breton

Gender: Male

Age: 33

Appearance: Standing at about 6' even, pale-skinned Willis sports a dirty blond mullet and dark brown eyes. His slender, stern face sits atop a well-built body, which bears numerous scars from training sessions and battles. Most noticeable is a dagger slash right over his heart, accented by a set of bear claw marks in the opposite direction.

Skills: Willis is skilled with a single-handed blade and well-versed in all schools of magic, chiefly Destruction and Restoration. While not at his best in armor, he can don a light set if needed, but a heavy set will severely dampen his magic power.

Equipment: Willis wields a silver longsword, believed to be an artifact from around the time of the Oblivion crisis. His normal attire is a hooded mage robe, which fortifies his magicka, and a pair of gold-trimmed shoes, which allow him to walk upon water's surface.

Homeland: High Rock

Personality: Willis is in a constant state of tranquil fury, only able to experience other emotions for fleeting moments. He doesn't raise his voice or strike another in anger—he's saving all his pent-up rage for someone in particular. He doesn't discriminate against any other race, and is willing to assist anyone he thinks can help him further his own goal.

Background: Born to a Breton wizard, Keegan ra Teremolve, and an Imperial warrior, K'Tai Uarvol, Willis and his sister Emma were raised by their mother in High Rock, their father having died before their birth. When they were old enough, they were apprenticed to an Orsimer battlemage named Kr'ohr gro-Lestim, who had been a friend of their father and from whom they learned all the basics of melee and magical combat.

At the age of twenty-one, however, Willis uncovered a disturbing secret. While exploring his master's private quarters to sate his curiosity, he found a journal hidden amongst the clutter. Within the journal lay the horrifying tale of an evil Orc who betrayed and murdered his friends, including Willis' father, harvesting their souls for a ritual that would eventually allow him to usurp the throne of the Daedric Prince of Destruction, Mehrunes Dagon.

Shocked and repulsed, Willis and Emma went immediately to meet their master in combat. Unfortunately, by means unknown, he was already aware of their discovery and expecting their attack. He thwarted them with ease, brutally and remorselessly murdering Emma and seriously injuring Willis, who escaped only through the intervention of gro-Lestim's adviser, the Breton Icira Witherflame. Disgusted with her master's true nature, Witherflame left gro-Lestim's service and used her last teleportation scroll to get herself and Willis to safety.

It was at this time that they lost gro-Lestim's trail. Intent on finding and killing him before his plan comes to fruition, Willis and Icira—now married with a ten-year-old daughter, Kaeli, and an adopted Dunmer son, Orlin—travel across Tamriel in a desperate search. Presently, Icira and Kaeli comb the deserts of Elsweyr, while Willis has gone in the opposite direction, seeking his quarry in the province of Skyrim. Orlin, a skilled and stealthy thief, searches a different part of Skyrim on his own.

@Macman I see all of your posts, but as Velanya pointed out, it's hard to respond to them without much interaction with the rest of the cast. Party-wide questions usually help a bit, or pick a character of someone else's that interests you and strike up a conversation between them and one of your characters. It may feel slightly awkward at first, but you get used to it. You'll also figure out some ideas of how you want to develop your characters and relationships with others in the RP and that will make it easier.

@Glitch & @Altmer: Welcome aboard mates! Glad to have ye.
