SuperMegaSuperMega
Anyone know how to get rid of the stuttering bug? I have solved it one way by using iFPSClamp=60 and using MSI Afterburner and setting the FPS limiter to 60. If I do that it runs buttery smooth but it does not work with the 4GB Fallout New Vegas mod. If I use that mod to prevent crashing the iFPSClamp=60 and FPS limiter trick no longer work and the game stutters. I can't use the stutter remover or fake windowed mods because I am using Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition on Steam which is patched to v1.4 I think. Tried other mods and they will not work. If I was using v1.2 I think they would work but thatt is impossible because of Steam. Only one thing seems to work but....it won't work witht he 4GB mod and that is pretty much mandatory if you want to play FNV. Any ideas? Intel Core i7 950 @ 3.066GHz6GB Triple Channel KitGigabyte GTX 670 2GB Windforce Edit: I tried it again with the 4GB mod and I think it is working now. I think it just dips in FPS the odd time which causes the game to slow down because of the iFPSClamp=60 trick. I have settings at ultra and everything maxed but if I change just a couple of settings I should be able to always keep it at 60 fps. Without the iFPSClamp set at 60 it didn't matter if I used Ultra or Low settings it was always stuttering. I think it might work now. Edit: Got it working! Had to also use Nvidia d3d9 perf fix because FNV doesn't seem to like DirectX 11? That with the 4GB fix and using iFPSClamp=60 with an FPS limiter has solved it and it is running nice and smooth now. :) Edited May 18, 2013 by SuperMegaSuperMega
