GirlGamer55
I took a few months off from modding/playing fallout nv, so I thought I would start modding yesterday. Well I opened up my BSA browser to get a fallout 3 mesh so I could use it in fallout nv. Doing the same thing I do everytime I just dragged the mesh into a folder I can get to within Fallout NVs files. I was surprised when I tried to add it in the GECK only for a red ! to show up. Thinking I messed up I did the same thing. So I tried a mesh from a Fallout 3 mod, same thing happened. But if I get into NV's BSA files and use those models they work fine. I would say same goes for fallout 3's files. I'v taken plenty of fallout 3 meshes and put them into NV without having any issue before. So why this sudden change? This has never happened to me. Is anyone else having these issues or does anyone know how to fix said issue?
GirlGamer55
So no one has any clue why this is happening?
jazzisparis
If I had to guess, I'd say it's bad collision information in the mesh. By "bad", I mean not compatible with FNV.Which mesh are you trying to port?
GirlGamer55
I just got back from a very long vacation...so late post. While I can't remember the exact mesh, I do remember what mod I was trying to port part of. Arefu Expanded has a full chessboard with pieces on it and I was trying to port that over to FNV for a PERSONAL mod. Keep in mind I said personal. It keeps giving me the red !. Actually looking up on it, it's this mod: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/12466 I do have to go into the BSA to get the models...would that be messing me up?
