Matt6sic6 Posted May 3, 2021 Posted May 3, 2021 I'm coming back to Skyrim after a several year absence. I only ever played the standard edition. My wife bought mr the special edition and I'd love to jump in and start playing, but playing vanilla without mods is often cringe worthy. Unfortunately, I have a @#$%ton of mods installed on my standard edition. I know you can convert them by opening them in the SE construction set and saving them, but it would take days, maybe even a week or two of opening/saving. My question is, has anybody released a tool to batch convert multiple esps or found a way to automate the open/save process?
Helmsmasher Posted May 3, 2021 Posted May 3, 2021 You're better off downloading their SE counterparts, most popular mods have one and those that don't have (usually better) alternatives.
Matt6sic6 Posted May 4, 2021 Author Posted May 4, 2021 I was hoping for something not so time consuming
Helmsmasher Posted May 4, 2021 Posted May 4, 2021 (edited) There is no magic wand here sorry. You'll have to put in effort. (btw the way of converting mods from LE to SE you described is not the proper way it requires way more effort than simply resaving it in the CK) Edited May 4, 2021 by Helmsmasher
