Help with creating custom race

Hi

 

I'm trying to make a race using the Corean race.

I create my new race, edit it's stats, make it playable, add the abilities, eyes, hair.

Then I add the eyes and hair that come with the Corean race. I save and everything is fine.

 

Then I launch the game and try to create a new character and I can, but the eyes are messed up and I can't select any other eyes or hairstyles.

Did you make the hair and eyes playable? If not, that's your problem.

 

Also, some mods replace the default eye mesh, and the textures for the mod eyes only work with the meshes for the mod, if that makes sense. I know that Ren's eyes use a different mesh to stock oblivion. I think that the corean eyes do as well.

 

I am pretty sure, from memory, that I had to modify Ren's, Phaedra's and the corean eye textures to fit the standard eye mesh for my game.
