norusdog Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 So I had downloaded a replacement for all the posters in the wasteland from the nexus. I decided I wanted to replace those with pics of my own and got about cutting/pasting pics I wanted to fit into the texture. I go to save it and I"m getting this error DDS: It appears your image may be a volume map,but not all layers are the same size, thus a volumemap cannot be written. now I used the .dds texture file for the first set of 4 posters..and pasted .jpgs into it. Now when I go to save it I get that error. anyone know how to fix this? I'm using GIMP...and obviously a serious newb at it. and I had done this in oblivion for my own paintings but forget how to do it cause it's been a couple years...how do you then convert the texture to have the _n.dds file/layer/whatever it is. thanks!
SpeedyB64 Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 I just ignore that error. It still works fine for me.
