Okay for shadows I only have the shadow striping fix. Honest.

I also looked at some ini tweaks in Skyrim.ini and all my related lines are:

fSunShadowUpdateTime=0.25
fSunUpdateThreshold=1.5
In skyrimprefs my shadow related lines are:
iShadowMapResolution=4096
fShadowBiasScale=0.1500
iShadowMaskQuarter=4
iBlurDeferredShadowMask=3
fShadowDistance=4000

fShadowLODStartFade=500.0000

iShadowMode=4
bTreesReceiveShadows=1
bDrawLandShadows=1
bDrawShadows=1
bShadowMaskZPrepass=0
bDeferredShadows=1
Any ideas? :ermm:

The only things we have thats the same is these lines...

iShadowMode=4
bTreesReceiveShadows=1
bDrawLandShadows=1
bDrawShadows=1
>bShadowMaskZPrepass=1< you have a 0 on yours
>bShadowsOnGrass=1<
bDeferredShadows=1
I don't have any shadow tweaks on my ini... Hmm, I don't know, what lighting mods do you use???
I use "Ultra Realistic World Lighting" and "Imaginator"

Hmm really nothing huh. Even with your differing values you get the same problem!

I find it gets lesser now but I really have no idea how that happened. Its not as obvious..only if i look out for it. Otherwise if i'm more concerned about getting ambushed by bandits I kind of forget its there. Right now I have bigger problems (eg. my damn monster mod isn't working anymore)

In terms of lighting mods..I have claralux, enhanced lights and fx and RCRN if thats counted.

Hi prod80,

Hmm how do you mean?

As far as I know (im a noob so correct me if i'm wrong) Claralux adds light sources along paths and roads..

ELFX messes with interior and basically adding light to light sources tt bethesda left out..

and RCRN messes with the weather and sunsets and sunrises..

I suspect something about RCRN cos I have used the first 2 with no problems before.

Hey guys,

So far my problem has kind of evolved. Right now its no longer a circular ring that moves with me, its now a little further but at certain camera angles at third-person view I see this weird striping problem. As I move closer it disappears.

See these pictures...

Any ideas? I have a bad bad feeling its RCRN. I'm going to also post this in RCRN Technical Support but any assistance here is appreciated!!

FIX FOUND IN RCRN: Okay I've fixed it with some ini tweaks. Apparently shadowbiasscale should be around 0.3 or so instead of recommended by RCRN for 0.15. KnightsRangersGuild you can try that out and see if it helps with the sphere. I'm not exactly sure but I'm seeing results so far.

Hi KnightRangersGuild,

I've fixed my shadow striping with the shadowbiasscale, and also moved my shadow striping mod down as you suggested.

I really hope it works for you. Do let me know!
