Crashing in store and weapons inventory

So, I downloaded some new mods and upon activating them I realized that I could no longer access any store in the game. Not the traveling merchants, Gun Runners, or the Sink Intelligence in Old World Blues. Then, after about an hour of deactivating all of my mods, period, when I would open my Pip-Boy and go to my weapons inventory it would freeze and crash in the same manner when I would open a store. Then, upon further inspection, I could scroll down all of my items but as soon as it came down to the A's (the Anti-Material Rifle to be specific) it would crash again. Can someone tell me what I have to do to fix this?

If you previously used a mod that adds new weapon-mods (WME, WMX, etc.) and then removed it, any modded weapons will contain invalid subrecord data and crash the game when viewed in an inventory or barter screen. Fixing this problem in an existing save requires some knowledge of using the in-game console to delete the weapons with invalid data from your inventory. You should be able to wait out a vendor-reset in a remote cell to fix the vendor inventories.

 

 

 

Best practice would be to never remove mods from your load order without starting a new game.
