Need help with adding hair to a custom follower

Ok im still very new to this i have been trying to give a custom companion of mine some hair from one of the hair packs.

 

I'm using this one because the current Apachii one didn't have any i liked.

I have save the Face gen, when l placed her in a cell she had the the hair, i save the changes to the esp. before exiting the creation kit, have the data files clicked for it to work, but when i load the game she doesn't have the hair. i load the kit and the data files and it says it cant locate hair data for the person i made i the even though no paths have been changes. i know the hair mod works because i went through the race menu and checked to see if the were loading

 

Idk if ths is pertanat but when i start scrolling down in the creation kit to give her the hair i want her to have i get this warning

now since im new to this this is only my second mod, idk what this means. i have taken a look at a couple other things that could help me but i worry i might feth something up if i do.
