gir489
I installed JoOs modern armory today and right off the bat I noticed something almost non-ignoble. When you have a pistol equipped, the jacket mesh seems to clip in to the field of vision.I only tested this with SWAT uniform (green) and ACU uniform A, but they both did it, and both of them clips about the same amount. http://imageshack.us...m6KwlqmZmd3W06g I PM'd the author, but his last activity was last month but only to add 2 friends, his last activity on the mod was sometime in 2012, so I'm pretty sure he's abandoned it. I was able to import the ACU uniform A in to Blender to remove the two flares on the backpack which I found to be an eye sore, but I wouldn't know how to fix this clipping issue as I don't know how. If a more experienced modeler could give me some direction on how to fix this, that would be great. I pretty much learned how to use Blender today for the first time, and the complete time from learning it to the finished mesh of about 3 hours.EDIT: Here's the mesh if anyone wants it:http://www.mediafire.com/?6nhnjc5yj6awhw0 Edited May 20, 2013 by gir489

luthienanarion
Fortunately, this is easier to fix than you might think! You can name TriShapes anything you want to in your NIFs, but the game handles objects named UpperBody differently by not rendering them in first-person. Simply rename the TriShape for whichever object is inadvertently in your field of vision to "UpperBody" (or "UpperBody.1" or the like, if you have multiple TriShapes to hide) and it will disappear from your first-person view. I knew it would do something like that. The entire mesh is called "arms" (very improperly named, it should've been called shirt) and I thought reobjecting the mid-section would fix that. Thanks for the tip. Edited May 21, 2013 by gir489
