HELLJUMPERS21
So I have completed my player home. I cleaned it up with SSEEDIT. I play on xbox and would like to test it. Is there a way I can port it without it being available to all users? Also is there anyone here that would be willing to test it and give constructive criticism? Its a large vanilla player home with lots of collectible storage.
NexusComa2
You may be able to post it on a storage site then give out a few copies for testing. I run the old Skyrim and not on an Xbox. Good luck with your mod!
HELLJUMPERS21
Thanks. I ran into a snag though. My texture BSA is 2.5G! How the heck did that happen? I am using all vanilla textures but I modified some of the vanilla meshes with different vanilla textures. But there is no way its that huge! Trying to figure out what happened :(
NexusComa2
oo ... sound like you saved you textures in a super high res. I'd be willing to test your mod for you. I'm pretty sure you will get no real response here. Be warned however I have been modding Skyrim for well over a decade, used to work as a game tester and am one of the pickiest people you'll ever meet.. lol. You would have to set up a way to download the file ... via storage site works well. This is one of my mods Enchanted Ship in a Bottle. This mod took me 5 years to make (weekend project). But that gives you a bit of an ideal how picky I am ... ;P Edited May 6, 2021 by NexusComa2
agerweb
If you are only using vanilla textures you shouldn't have any textures in your mods bsa; there all in the skyrim etc bsa's BTW this post would probably better in the SSE forums: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?c=4040,4045

I actually have it up for PC here: https://bethesda.net/en/mods/skyrim/mod-detail/4213326 Super dope looking mod, I'll have to check it out. All the weapons and armor I have on display are using vanilla textures from the vanilla folders. So wth is it so damn large? Yes I changed the trophy bases by changing the vanilla textures to other vanilla textures, made a new form and what not but damn it shouldn't be that big. Omg I didnt even know they had an SSE creation kit forum on here!
agerweb
Well you have control of what goes in your mods bsa; why have you put textures in it?
