Spellmaking trade-offs

Hi all,

I recently came across Enchantment Enhanced, which adds the option of adding negative effects to your enchantments to offset the charge level. I thought this was a great idea and would work very well with spellmaking.

For example, imagine a restore health spell that heals for a large amount but in return paralyzes you for a short time. In exchange for this harmful effect, the magic cost is reduced. This leaves you with a spell that takes some tactical thought to use but healsa great amount for it's magic cost.

Any thoughts?

That sound like a really good idea, and shouldn't be too hard to do. Unfortunately I'm very busy right now otherwise I would make it along with a spell that paralyses your enemy but also heals them a bit (as you say, tactical thought).
