billytheman
Hello community,I am reaching out to you for some dire help. My beloved Skyrim is crashing on me on a regular basis. Steam Client Bootstrapper (buildbot_winslave04_steam_steam_rel_client_win32@winslave04) is the reason for the crashes. I searched all over and seem not to be able to get a handle on this. I use SkyRe in addition to about 40 other mods. Tes5edit, BOSS, ReProccer @ Nexus Mod Manager are used daily by me to ensure clean mod organization and health. This started happening the last steam update. I have all the DLC's, latest SKSE and the like. Please share any knowledge or guidance you may have. Thanks,Billy Edited May 21, 2013 by billytheman
ZeroKing
A good idea would be Verify Game Cache via Steam, reinstall DX9 or DX11 runtime, and perhaps install Steam again. Sometimes, the updates for Steam gets abruptly corrupted. Happened to me once a while ago, and just reinstalling Steam worked just fine.
prod80
I also have issues with Skyrim right now after last steam update ( few days ago ) and have to verify game cache to get my game running again 2x a day :\ It drops me an error on startup saying 'Steam' Application failed to start. Error 65423, or something like that. Rather annoying. When I verify cache it find 1 corrupted file which is replaced and the game runs again fine.
