L0bban
Hi! Can anyone guide me to a page or give some tips on how I use the GECK to change sounds to my own .wav files, for weapons.Concerning the .wav files themselves, can you use ANY .wav files or is there any restrictions? SpeedyB64
What I did for this is: Go to sound in the object window and open one of the weapon sounds, I changed the id and selected my sound. I did the same for the 3d and 2d sounds. (It only loads the sound wen you close the window and reopen it) After reopening the window hit play and it should work. Then go to your weapon and select the sounds.
L0bban
Thanks! Everything works, except that I get a "double tap" distortion sound in the end of whatever sound I add. In other words; for some reason the GECK ADDS this sound distortion to the end of my chosen .wav.I sounds kind of like the sound when you turn off a pair of speakers for example. In the "count" tab in "sounds" there's an asterix (*), like this: 0*. My prob got anything to do with this? Can't find any info on this problem, can anyone help?
SpeedyB64
In the GECK a * usually means it has been edited and will be saved in the esp
