I have noticed several other people suggested this as well. I think it would make for an amazing mod.I got the G.E.C.K. to try and see what I can do myself, but so far I only know how to use things that are already in the game. If I figure out how to work the G.E.C.K. better I'll try to make some Half-Life stuff for sure. I really want to create a Strider (or at least something that resembles a Strider).
