New to modding - Washed out colors / textures

Dear modding community,

mithos16 here and I got a problem with washed out colors after following the modding guide posted by Delizzio: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/40407

I want to believe I followed the guide to a T but I must have effed up royally somewhere. The image I get is way too bright and washed out and textures as well as atmosphere feel dry and wrong. I attached a screenshot for reference. Has anybody else encountered something like this and evtl. knows a solution?
