Looking for help to start a High King Mod

Hi, I've seen in alot of threads that creating something like a high king mod is nothing more then ideas and dreams of what should have been in Skyrim. Now i'm not a veretan modder by any means, but i done a little modding for my personal use, I truly believe this mod is possiable, YES i know it will take large amount of work and time to make it come together and stay fun for people to want to keep playing it.

There are alot of issues to confront, I would really like it to get the opinions of some modders to see what they think of the idea and what it will consist of getting things to work.

 

I would also be very interested in starting a team for anyone who is willing to put in the time and effort to make this mod come to life. I'm very humble and I know i'm going to get comments that i'm in over my head, I know, but i'm willing to learn from anyone willing to help and follow there lead.

 

Now here are some of the things i know off the top of my head that will need to be addressed-

 

Voice acting- All the professional voice actors in Skyrim is what i planned on using, everything is there to cut and pasted and make the npcs say what they would need to, most likely a few new voice actors, myself and whoever else would be willing.

 

Scripting- This is where i would have trouble, BUT in hopes in posting this someone (or a few) in the community would being willing to get there hands into it.

 

New Armors- I also lack here, actually, don't know the first thing about creating new armors, I had some folks in mind I was going to ask, and I hope someone reading this would be interested in taking this on.

 

A Good immersive story line- what good is a quest without a great story behind it, this is something the team would have to spit ball around with and get input from the community

 

Become High King? Or Make an NPC High King- I would believe that making an npc high king would be a bit easier, but i know (me personally) others would love to become High King, the dragonborn deserves it anyway I mean come on! He save the land from dragons!

 

Radient Quests- This is something that would just have to be envolved, no question in my mind.

 

Right now thats it off the top of my head but i know there is alot more then that, so PLEASE give me your input and if anyone would like to get envolved let me know!

Good luck. I don't have the time/skill to get involved in something this ambitious, but here are a few pieces of advice.

 

1 Don't become the High King. Too awkward and immersion breaking. Instead, have a young king as your candidate who you can choose to support or manipulate, so you can become a 'Shadow King' who controls Skyrim from behind the scenes if you so desire.

 

2: Focus on the questline first, then voice acting and then new items. A good script may attract voice actors, and an established questline is more interesting than new items IMO.
