Deleted5387618User
I keep hearing mixed reviews from these soo I wanted to be sure to ask anyone that uses SSD from skyrim. To see if it's worth getting one to decease the load times on my heavy modded game :D.Only plan on installing skyrim on the drive btw soo any advise would be helpful ^^
Oubliette
I have an SSD though not specifically for skyrim. It definitely is worth buying, though I could never afford one big enough for my skyrim install.

mrlactos
Definitely worth it, but get a solid graphics card or processor first in my opinion.
camaro_69_327
SSD for skyrim would rock.... But as many have said the Size and cost can be somewhat prohibitive....for instance since Skyrim IS not the only game i play, my Steam common folder is bigger then the SSD i have for my System install (120GB)...lmao Steams common folder = 165 GB (177,179,868,215 bytes) :)

velve666
Good stuff! just don't defrag!!!!! remember these words, I am an almost OCD defragger...so if youre like me you gotta break the habit, its almost like driving a petrol car for years, you buy yourself a diesel car one day and fill it up with petrol. (this has happened to me too, although it was a friends car) Edited April 19, 2014 by velve666
