MHendy730
I recently downloaded the Dawnguard DLC and whenever I activate a mod pertaining to it, the game crashes. The game works fine after deactivating these mods. Do I need to re-install SKSE in order to make it Dawnguard compatible or is there another issue I need to address? camaro_69_327
Download >>TesVEdit Install and run. Right click in the box that shows...Select all mods... Run with what is PRE selected for you by TESVEdit IF it finishes and says.."background loader finished" you are not missing a master.IF it errors out....read the last few lines, it will have stopped at the offending mod and tell you what is wrong. EDIT to fix wrong directions...my bad Edited April 24, 2014 by camaro_69_327

MHendy730
Got it working. Didn't have the Dawnguard.esm plugin checked off. I feel silly now. Still kinda new to modding. Thanks for the help everybody!
camaro_69_327
Download >>TesVEdit Install and run. Right click in the box that shows...Select all mods... That should say ...run with what is PRE-selected for you. IF it finishes and says.."background loader finished" you are not missing a master.IF it errors out....read the last few lines, it will have stopped at the offending mod and tell you what is wrong.to follow up on why this did not work...for anyone else reading this.....my bad....in the above Quote of me..i said to Right click and Select all. I should have said...let TESVEDIT run with the mods that were PRE selected as that would be what you have selected from the mod manage of choice. By selecting all, it finished because even tho you did not have Dawnguard selected in your mod manager, it was now selected in TESVEDIT. SO again if running TESVedit to find an error....Run with what was pre selected for you on start -up. ( as this will mirror what the game is seeing).
