HDT Physics - Random objects thrashing around!

Hey guys,

 

I have several mods that affect physics s.a:

 

- HDT Physics Extensions

- HDT Breast & Butt Physics

- Dead Body Collision Fix

- Realistic Ragdolls and Force

 

All of my mods are clean and organized with LOOT.

And I also use FINIS each time I add animation mods.

However when I walk indoors I often hear clutter thrashing

around the rooms or when walking near objects they get

thrown around sometimes hitting my player too.

 

Outside I sometimes see a random npc/corpse mushed

into a ball thrashing around like a psycho. LoL

 

VANILLA INTRO: As soon as it begins sometimes the cart

gets literally disassembled, I fall out and die. LoL

 

Could the order of installation of physics altering mods be the

coulprit?

I have the same issue, tagged to see if this gets fixed.

The carriage ride is highly linked to camera and the mesh the camera is riding and over which the camera travels. HDT could be adjusting this camera reliance in a way that the game cannot overcome.

 

Some mods in your load order have issues. Crimson Tide, SkyTEST and SOS among them. Addition of mass NPCs with OBIS and Immersive Patrols and Bandit Patrols can screw up the carriage ride if any of them cross navmesh with the ride.

 

I've had everything from "parallax roads" to "add more bandits to your skyrim" type mods interfere with that carriage ride. The simplest solution is bypassing the entire Helgen tutorial with an alternate start mod or a CLEAN, UNMODDED save starting at some point after the player is given full control over their character.

SOS (Not Sounds of Skyrim, the other SOS) is a known culprit of causing the opening cart ride to mess up, often violently too as you found out.

 

Just don't choose the vanilla start with LAL, you can choose the "camping in the woods" option and you'll get placed about a 30 second walk from the gates of helgen.

It may also be your fps causing the issue the physics engine doesnt seem to always work correctly when your fps is constantly above 60 fps ( before I begun using adaptive vsync I had this exact issue after enabling it I have had no physics issues).
