cireland298 Posted December 3, 2014 Share Posted December 3, 2014 Hey guys, I just wanted to ask a few things about ENB. I have properly installed ENB, this I know because when the game launches, the graphics adapter notification pops up, and Shift + Enter opens it up. But, when I use my ModOrganizer with presets, it has no effect at all. I have no idea why this happens, and I've never seen anyone with the same problem. Could someone give me an in depth explanation on how to fix this? I've used RealVision, Project ENB, all that stuff, and nothing is working. camaro_69_327 Posted December 3, 2014 Share Posted December 3, 2014 IF , you are saying you are installing your "presets" thru MO , then that is the problem. Everything to do with ENB needs to be put in the "Skyrim " folder. To Date.....NO mod manager can or will install any files into the "Skyrim folder". All mod managers can install to the "Data" folder, one folder down from Skyrim. How I install an ENB . Download the latest ENB from the source (enbdev.com) this is necessary as some file can not be gotten any place but there.Extract the entire default ENB into the "skyrim Folder".NOW you can install a preset, again the preset must go into the "Skyrim " folder. Overwriting default files as necessary. (i never use an ENB preset that needs an ESP or an installer). ENB requires you to get your hands dirty, as in , install by hand.....:) Side note: I use Serenity ENB. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

cireland298 Posted December 4, 2014 Author Share Posted December 4, 2014 Alright my friends, I have run into yet another problem. ENB worked BEAUTIFULLY. Love RealVision, the preset A with warmer sun and sunsprite effect is absolutely gorgeous. However, it stopped working for no reason. And it is ENB itself. I uninstalled it, game works wonderfully again. Reinstall it, crashes on launch. Can't get past the Bethesda logo before it crashes. Camaro, with your seemingly infinite knowledge of all problems ENB, could you maybe help me out? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

MSI afterburnerRazer game boosterEVGA precisionXSteam and the game overlayX fire To name a few of the known causes. Being that you did have it running, should be an easy fix. Everything was disabled, I did a completely fresh install of Skyrim, did a fresh install of ENB straight off the site using the WrapperVersion. Still wouldn't work. I do use GameBooster, but it never activates when I run SKSE. Only when I run the Skyrim Launcher or the actual Skyrim.exe Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
