scopt97
So, I have seen forum posts from people with the same problem, but none of the solutions that I saw worked for me. Quick Description:Open NMM, tick all plugins, close NMM, reopen NMM, all plugins are un-ticked Details:I recently uninstalled and re-downloaded Skyrim through Steam because I thought something went wrong when I tried to remove some manually installed mods. After I uninstalled Skyrim, but before I re-downloaded it, I deleted the Skyrim folder (to get rid all files from the manually installed mods). After downloading Skyrim, I re-installed the NMM mods I wanted (not re-downloaded) and I'm pretty sure they stayed ticked because Skyrim started wigging out when I tried to play it (I forgot to install SKSE first). I uninstalled and reinstalled the mods (so they would be installed with SKSE present), then opened the Skyrim launcher to get my Steam subscribed mods. When I selected Data to see if it worked, I noticed that none of the plugins were ticked. Now, I tick all plugins in NMM, rearrange a couple, close NMM, reopen it, and none of the plugins are ticked (accept Skyrim and Update), and all went back to their original places. What I've Tried:Making sure "write" is ticked in the mod files. Making sure SkyrimPrefs (both) is not set to read-only. Trying to un-select Read-only for the entire Skyrim folder in its properties (it reverts back to Read-only when I exit the properties window and reopen it). These are the only suggested solutions I could find on other forum pages, except the Skyrim folder thing, that was more of a last effort idea. All other posts were the same suggestions, or people saying they had the problem too. Thanks to whoever provides a solution!
