Can't mine Stalhrim (have ancient nordic pickaxe)

I have been having a troubling issue with Dragonborn, and it's that even with the Ancient Nordic Pickaxe, I cannot mine Stalhrim, it says "Mine Stalhrim" when I hover over it, but when I press E like it says, nothing happens, I've tried in in multiple saves to see if it was a save issue and it wasn't, I also made sure I didn't load from an autosave because I hear many different issues can happen if you do. I did have a mining mod but I also had another mod which fixes mining mods (post even mentioned mining mod I use) for stalhrim. Removing them and trying on a different save gave me the exact same results. I really can't think of anything else.

I'm sorry for your issue, however, you do not supply adequate details to make any support replies worth posting. You still need the required Unique Pickaxe to mine Stahlrim, I have not edited that. Excerpt from Gyldenhul mod description.

 

Important Note: -Thank you valkyiria for bringing to my attention

If you have already entered a mine or already mined an ore vein, the new script may not attach to the ore vein, so enter a new mine or start a new game or wait for the veins to re-spawn (3 in-game months) and see if my new script attached. Excerpt from More and Indefinite Mining

It does meet those requirements, to be safe I never install a mod mid-game, and I do have an ancient nordic pickaxe
