theAKexperience
Has my .ini gone rogue? Has my Skyrim has become sentient? Is this the first step in machines eventual enslavement of the human race?Excuse me for being a little paranoid, but I recently watched Ex Machina and it will do that to you! So my Skyrim has been heavy afflicted with issue as of late. These coincided with my upgrade to ENB (realvision) and the recommended mods that run alongside it, I immediately assumed these to be the culprits. After a flurry of checking and unchecking boxes, running and rerunning LOOT, I began to realize that the problem lied elsewhere. Thats how I stumbled across my two Skyrim.ini files. One is located in my MO folder, one in My Games folder. Both are exact copies except for the line: uExterior Cell Buffer= One is set to 24, one to 36. Therein lies the problem. I am currently not able to load any outdoors save, so it makes an awful lot of sense that this is f*#@ing up my game.So my question, which one must go? Does it even make a difference? TheHuntress1970
I don't use MO but have you tried to edited them to have the same number and then keep the one that works? As much as I know of MO this ini might be the one that's being read.
