  1. So I want to make a new recipe for improving the Worn Shrouded armor set at a workbench, but I can't seem to find where the existing recipes reference the object being improved. Anyone have any idea what I'm missing? EDIT: YAY!! I figured it out
  2. So I found this mod that adds a Note for you to read that adds the markers for all the Standing Stones to your map after you read it. I want to do something similar, but for the Word Walls. However I am such a noob at scripting that I can't even make sense of the script that the other mod uses. Are there any good guides for doing what I'm trying to do? Is it even possible? EDIT for clarification: Basically what I want is a book that gives you either the quest markers like Arngeir does, or adds the actual markers to the map like the A Gentleman's Guide to Whiterun and similar books do.
  3. In response to post #43700570. I've had no issues installing manually. All the mods I've downloaded have been from the Nexus though.
  4. Thanks. After opening it up in FO4Edit I found out what it was. Apparently the DLC added perks and those were screwing up with the edits I made. Guess I need to learn how to load multiple Master files in the CK.
  5. I'm having an issue with my mod. I was trying to remove the level requirements for the perks, and I'm not sure what I did but some of the perks are screwed up. In game they are listing the max level of the perk, for example the Lone Wanderer perk shows the effect of doing 25% more damage without a companion and requiring level 50. In the CK it has the level listed as 1, number of ranks as 1, and next perk as LoneWanderer01. There are other perks that are acting the same way. I cant see how I screwed it up, and I don't know how to revert the changes back to vanilla without starting all over. So my question is... Is there any way to revert changes in a mod back to vanilla?
  6. How bout a request for a tutorial? I'm having an issue with my mod. I was trying to remove the level requirements for the perks, and I'm not sure what I did but some of the perks are screwed up. 7. Actually i did exactly what you are tying to do. All of the weapon mods are under "Object Modification". Ill pm you with a dropbox link to my mod. Might be easier than me trying to explain what i did.
  8. Perhaps then you can show me what I'm missing. Because the page for the wall safe I'm using has different options than the tool box he put his stuff in. I don't know if i took the wrong one, and mine is only the safe itself with another page telling it what is in it.
  9. That's adding to an already existing container. I want a new container to put my items in. I have the wall safe in the right spot in the game world, but I don't know how to tell FO4Edit to put my items into the safe.
  10. Ok, so here I am trying my hand at making a mod. Basic premise is that Shaun, knowing that you would awaken from the Vault at some time, placed items to assist you in surviving the wasteland until you can find him. I have made 'special' versions of the Institute laser rife and heavy armor already. I have a wall safe placed in the player home in Sanctuary. But I cant figure out what to edit to put the items in the new container. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7639/? - Master Charlies God Toolbox by chazzee23 is what started me thinking about this, but he just added items to an existing tool box. I used http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/5666/? - Alien Spawning House - New Location by SpiderMight to figure out how to add a new container and place it where I wanted. But I cant find anything that will let me put stuff in the container. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
