  1. How to use DATA coords to place an item in WORLD (in an ACHR) ?
  2. Not at all ! :) I'm speaking of TesSnip modifications. I have created a new item, with new ID. I want a vanilla merchand to sell it. So i put my item ID in the merchand container with TesSnip. Following exemples that are working fine. The exemple item display in game in the merchand sell menu, but not my item... Volek !! Where are you my mentor !!! I need your enlightments !!!! edit: oui je suis francophone, je parle de modification avec TesSnip pour creer un esp, pas de vendre mon objet en jeu ;)
  3. I have dropped an item to sell in a merchand container but in the game, he don't display it to buyer. How can i do ??
  4. By some other troubles, one of them about Steam is an enormous privacy violation, you can learn more about it arround the net.
  5. Let see the Steam Workshop from various points of view, first of all the name, Workshop, that could means that all the mods available on it have been created for it. That point is wrong and can be exploited by Steam to make profit (almost ads) over the enormous TES modders community. Nowhere has been mentionned the fact that steam want to give any financial support or compensation to the TES modder. And i don't think that any Steam staff members would create any mod by hiself. By uploading mods, they could progressivly create a monopole climat, i mean, make the modder name fall into "oblivion", minimizing the work that has been made. Breaking some aspects of the modders community, like beeing able to create little teams to make mods. A nasty effect of that evolution could be to see overtime, only big teams could have a public impact and recognition, inducing by itself the monetization processus for bigs, and skill exploitation for the littles (like me). I think that some of the actual modders have already understand that point. Behind a easy interface, uploading some chosen mods, or promoting by an obsure valor ladder, it would be almost certain that lot of mods and modders will stay in the shadow. the Bethesda policy about mod property probably make much of us happy to take advantage of some others work, but in a commercial context, all that could turn bad and another time, the bigs and promoted by steam could take the work and profit from the others. Steam never do anything for the community, they act for profit, as a normal commercial agency. I don't think that in anyway they can make anything for us, only for Bethesda (in the better case) and above else, for themselves. As some of the writers of that topic say, it is not actually active, so we better don't make a bad opinion of it. At the beginning, nothing will change, but with months and years, Steam probably just will have a realy nasty impact on the free mods community. Wonder about it, and support Steam if you want, but keep in mind that they just want to be an intermediary between creator and players, simply as they have been define and act since the Steam creation. Finaly less intermediary has always seemed better communication and creation freedom. Make your choice ! Edit: A simple various game community comparison: Nexus: Free to us for modders and users, make profite by some ads support and services. Created by the fan community for itself. Steam: Originaly game studio, Steam was created to sell the proper company games. They progressivly sell others studios games. They create a community arround the commercial activity. Bethesda: Game studio, growing bigger and strongher, since the creation, has always manage a special place for the fans. Since now morowind, offer to the community one of the greatest creation tools of the early video game story.
  6. I don't know if that could help you but i'm actually making lot of modifications for my mod. Using both of the tools grant me much more possibilities, Skyedit and TesSnip are actually not completed tools, but using both, you can reach almost all of your goal about content modifications. Of course you still have to make a big reseach work about how to plan your mod ans also a big wonder work to link all that between the 2 tools without broken your mod. Just get in it, you will find. Another thing, about the mesh replacment, you still need to make your new model to reach the original one's "riggs (or what ever it is called in the tes mod world). Or you would not be able to use your model properly (location, animation...) or at all. Another thing, Skyrim meshs are made for slime ones or fat ones :)
  7. Hi, do anyone know how to summon multiple creatures with an item ? not the spell. I can create new item, new effect, new creature or NPC, but i can't figure how to make them multiple. Thanks !
