  1. Hi, As people may be aware; I am going through all of my old weapons and remaking them. Next on the list is the IF-54 and WH-77, which will be part of a pack with some new weapons called "Rifles Rebirth". Aside from a visual facelift and better integration, another essential element will be animations. I don't have the ability to create animations myself, and I have precious little time to work on mods as it is, so I am appealing to the community to help me out. The IF-54 can happily make use of existing animations from other mods, so no new content needed there, just permissions from fellow authors. The main need for custom content will be for the WH-77. Primarily, it needs some reload animations and if possible an adjustment to the left hand position in 1st and 3rd person. It is very early days, I am just starting the modelling currently, so the need is not immediate and I imagine any Animators will need the main meshes finished before they can work with them. But I am putting this out now to test the water and see who is still about. So if you can help let me know, here or via pm. Cheers!
  2. I dont use sorting tools. I take my time manually crafting and patching my load order for each playthrough, identifying and fixing conflicts via xEdit. Obviously this requires that I have the ability to manually manipulate my load order quickly and with ease. Why is it that I cant do this with Vortex without having to navigate the convoluted and needlessly complex dependency system? Why is it that Vortex lacks the basic functionality of all previous mod management tools visa vi the ability to manually manipulate the load order via drag and drop? How did anybody get to this stage in the development without noticing that this basic facet of functionality is missing? This is a feature that you don't know how important it is until it is gone, and without it I cant use Vortex.

Because your talking like your some sort of "passionate" mod author, but it appears you are actually an entitled moron who doesnt know what hes talking about. Silly me though, you probably have a Moddb page with all your super mods that you have put hundreds of hours into all for the pleasure of your users yes? Not like all these other "Greedy" people right? Nope? YEAH, DIDN'T THINK SO.
  5. Hi all! I have authored a mod that adds several types of new arrows and a bow to the game. I would like to make these arrows not show up on the inventory of enemies that are killed by them, or failing that have a unusable version of them be show up. I would also like to make it so that when the Bow from my mod is being used the range and speed of the projectile is increased, so in essence Ide like to assign 2 projectiles to an ammunition type and have the type of bow used decide which projectile is fired. In my headcanon that would need a script that checks the player inventory for a specific Bow and Arrow equip combination and assigns the correct projectile type on the fly. I am under the impression that the above effects are only achieveable by writing new scripts, something I have no idea how to do. With that in mind I was hoping to draw on the communities' experience, any suggestions on where to start, existing scripts that could be usefull, any advice at all really would be super appreciated.
