  1. Some time ago, the mod Vilja in Skyrim was tagged incorrectly by some users and we used the downvote on those tags, to remove then. Right now, in the new layout, both the legendary edition both the Special edition versions of Vilja in Skyrim won't appear in a search for people having those languages filtered. Suggesting that either is counting the original votes despite our downvote or is counting our downvote as votes themselves.
  2. Don't make the NPC summonable, just use a script in the spell, that uses the moveto and Setposition functions, to place it in the same cell and in a relative possition towards player.
  3. In response to post #15745460. I had similar thoughts here. A mod's download rate used to mean how appealing that mod looked before trying it, in other words a marketing isue, while endorsements used to mean how satisfied players were with the mod after trying it. Now, endorsements will be a direct result of downloads. If you managed to make your mod have widelly downloadded, as far as you didn't screw things in the mod to the extent of players activelly opposing to endorse it, you'll get a lot of endorsements. From modders point of view, this will make endorsements worth nothing. From players point of view, you won't be able use the endorsements to decide if a mod deserves a download anymore. I'm not sure why people is so happy about their mods endorsements fast increase, they used to have golden endorsements and now they have gilded endorsements. More in numbers but less meaningful as time passes.
  4. The minimum instalment consist on two donwloadding files, one containes the tiny esp file and the other one the huge BSA file, where there are all her dialogue sounds and her textures among other things.
  5. Vilja an outdated dating sim Oblivion port?!? We are constantly developing Vilja. No way it could be called outdated. She is more light scripted than vanilla followers while you simply can't obtain a more complete result by mashing up all the avaliable follower Overhauls and aids. We are constantly looking for mod conflicts and bugs to fix and taking new ideas. She has been and keeps being designed for Skyrim engine and as far as I know there is no newer engine. While you can date and marry her, this is optional and a single one on a huge lot of features. The first version of Vilja was a companion for Oblivion, but apart from some of the dialogues (thousands, but there are also thousands of dialogues that has been made exclusivelly for the Skyrim version), we started from scratch. There is no way of porting a companion from Oblivion to Skyrim.
  6. Lord Garon, I can't recal any bug with Vilja causing a CTD ever. It may happen though, that a player could be using too GPU/CPU taxing armor/clothings/body textures on Vilja. In that case, the game could be on it's verge when the clothing change happens and her new clothing/nudity needs to be loadded in memory. The fix here is simply to stop using so taxing resources or you could patch the problem by asking her to stop chaning clothings, through in this case the CTD could happen in any other circumstance where a bit more info need to be added, or if when you enter the new cell there is too much to be rendered.
  7. Despite what you may heard, Vilja is a bit less cumbersome than a vanilla follower (a lot of scripts, but are not used at the same time and performance is always a priority). Other custom followers may be more combersome, but even then we are talking about a single extra NPC for the game in each case. What you should avoid is travelling with too much followers at the same time (if you want to travel with various of them, just try increassing the number until you get a performance loss or reach the number you want. Play a bit with each number before increassing it, as the performance loss may not be so noticeable in certain areas).
  8. Maybe disabling and enabling the cupboard could fix the problem.
  9. This is an issue with Requiem. There is a patch adressing this in that mod thread.
  10. As there are many mods changing the game balance and the vanilla difficulty system affects only player's strenght, the next version of Vilja will include a way to select how strong she is.
  11. You can just ask her to talk less and even if you ask her to shut up, she continue having all her unique options.
  12. Ozisi, Vilja is probably the only companion that won't reveal your possition when you shot an arrow and enemies start searching for you. Besides, it's totally lorefriendly and breaks the absurd topic of the need to be a sad and depressing person for living in a harsh place (which aparently some people find out of place).
  13. There are some things I would change: -add those features to any mod author. Not only the ones with 1000 or more endorsements. On one hand, I see no problem on a newby modders blocking comments or users on their own page and on the other one (assuming the reason for the 1000 downloads being the modder being reliable enough), some modders colaborate with different projects, without the endorsements being associated to them and not all the games have the same volume of players in the nexus (Floris mod pack, the most endorsed mod in Warband forums has less than half the needed endorsements). Ignore this point if this is a way to coop with a technical limitation. -I think it would be good, to have also the option to block a user for posting but not downloading. I can imagine situations where I would like to do both, but most of the times, blocking the posts (and PMs) should be more than enough. -You should be able to block users in PM (sorry if this is already avaliable. In that case, adding it to the same interface as blocking posts and downloads would be very useful). If you block someone from your page, you surelly won't want to read that person PMs.
  14. Not sure. My guess is it has something to do with vampires. Probably they decided not to use it in vanilla but in dawnguard and again, probably they forget about it.
