  1. If the point is that you want to browse the internet while playing Skyrim, the Steam overlay (brought up in-game with Shift+Tab) has a built it browser that you can use. If the point is having it just for the sake of having it, I don't know what to tell you other than I don't think that it's possible.
  2. I have many mod managers installed, simply because a lot of mods that exist for Fallout 3, NV, and Oblivion don't come supporting NMM/have instructions for installing with that game's respective mod manager. Because of this, I feel it is a lot easier to manage my Oblivion mods with OBMM, FO3/NV with FOMM, and then for Skyrim I use the NMM. So the answer is, yes, you can definitely have multiple mod managers installed at once. However, I would recommend only using one mod manager to manage each game. That doesn't mean that you can't use multiple mod managers for the same game, I just find it easier to do so.
  3. When exiting Whiterun, instead of going to the right and following the road all the way down and around, I just go to the left and jump off of the rocks to the farm below. Usually I'll land on the fence to prevent the damage on lower leveled characters.
  4. I don't know if you've done this mod yet, but it's probably one of my favorite overhaul mods. Signs and Guardians
  5. Either way you're going to get a Steam key with the game, so you're probably better off just shopping around and seeing where you can get it cheapest.
  6. This would be cool to see. I'd personally be interested in doing this as an evil character as well, regardless of whether I was a vampire or not. Shout ideas: Volum Nahlot Jun (or Shul) - Darkness Silenced Light (or Sun) Krii Shul Jun - Kill Sun Light
  7. Same thing happened for me. My character actually went through an entire personality change because of Serana. He went from hating everyone (her included) to being warmer and more caring (to a degree). I was so disappointed that I couldn't marry her. Other than not being able to marry her, she is very welcome. My afore-mentioned Orc loves her company, though I don't think my evil overlord Dunmer will think of her as fondly. I never had any problems with her except for after a battle with a dragon she just stood there in combat mode. Normally when she gets stuck, I can knock her down and she'll get up and be fine. This time however, she actually "died" (was on the ground). I tried fast-traveling to the location I was at (normally fixes her) but instead, she completely disappeared. I actually thought I had lost her for a bit, and had almost come to terms with it when she comes running up to me an hour (in-game) later, and is perfectly fine
  8. I think he means more in the vein of perks. Essentially, if you're wearing a matching set of armor, you get a bonus "perk" based on what style of armor that is. This would be really cool to see. I think that the bonuses would need to be really worked out so that they're balanced though. I would also suggest not having a negative effect for the wearing the armor (like you have on the Deadric one) because they are supposed to be set bonuses. Balancing would really need to be taken into account when you think of the fact that the Light and Heavy Armor perk trees already have a "Matching Set" perk that gives a bonus.
  9. What I did was Delete Local Content through Steam. Then went deleted the entire Data folder and then all my savegames. However, when I reinstalled, Steam Cloud did some syncing and all my savegames were back. I'll try again through your method though.
  10. I just recently uninstalled and reinstalled Skyrim to get rid of a lot of the mods I had and start fresh(er). I wasn't exactly expecting my old saves to work, but 2 of them do. Out of the 7 or so characters that I have only 2 will actually work. The other ones go to the loading screens for a couple seconds and then the game crashes. Whatever, no biggy. I was okay with starting a new character. Only I can't. Everything I choose New Game, it loads, and then I get to either the "Bethesda Game Studios" or "Presents" and the game just stops there. The sounds of being on the carriage will continue, but it never goes beyond that. If there is any other info that is needed, I'll be happy to provide it. Thank you in advance.
  11. You may not notice it because of the amount of health the enemy may have. I know that it works though. You can see it a little more on weaker enemies like bandits or even regular citizens. I know my character is at the perfect spot where you can hit an NPC and do just enough damage to leave them stumbling on the ground, but then they die a second later from the bleed-out.
  12. If you have "uLockedTerrainLOD" in your .ini at all, Quality World Map won't work. So check your .ini for that, or for "fMapWorldTransitionHeight". That will also prevent it from working properly. I'm not entirely sure what the effects of having those in your .ini is, but you might want to check and be sure. If it's not one of those, then I have no clue.
  13. He pissed me off so I shot a frenzy spell on him while he was sleeping. Him and his wife woke up and she ended up killing him. I didn't even get a bounty for it.
  14. Definitely metal for me. Three favorite bands would be: -Dream Theater (before Mike Portnoy left) -Disturbed -A tie between Avenged Sevenfold and Symphony X.
