Maybe the best solution is to help get the best mods/modders Sponsership from a game or a few adds on a mod page Subject to Nexus approval The mod author gets paid for the number of veiws or downloads or a combination Not selling out enabling some to go full time, more mods better mods Start a petition contact someone like pc world If you own a game like skyrim on xbox one of the only reasons to buy pc version Apart from graphics is the Mods, now i only buy pc games Plus idont want xbox seeing my junk have nothing to hide But the next step is a camera in the crapper The mods will be a huge part of gaming in the future. Bethesda and Valve reconise this, maybe they should sponser some of the top mods If they really want to support mod makers The benifit in future sales would be worth it. I think there will be plenty of companies That want to get in on this early, this has probably been said many times. Paying for mods is not realistic anywhere to many unlimited supply Like the dollar the bubble will burst no bailout next time. Possilbly five essential mods could be pay for decided by all i still want to see the the mod makers Rewarded for the passion and time and quality. I have a lot mods like most and appreciate all of them even the ones that suck. Maybe the ones that can, should teach more and the ones that cant Should learn more eventually everyone makes a mod By the way the guy who makes giant chickens could you please put it back up I hav'nt tried it yet

Making mods is a lot fun, updating mods can be really dull and time consuming Most authors will want to move on to their next mod idea/interest. Why not pay a very small amount for an update that adds extra features That way ensuring the modder keeps old mods up to date I know i would for somthing like Frostfall (Chesko) also an update for the Creation Kit Maybe an extra update donation button, dont know put about as much thought into it As probably steam did, a balance in the force shall be found The best fair solution will probably come from nexus over this year a user maybe I also like free stuff does'nt everyone and would not pay for most mods Including my own which are quite basic but some are a bit special and i would support those mod makers Being able to quit their jobs and mod full time.
