  1. Uh thanks! It worked! ^^ EDIT: ...oh well, seems anything i touch dont start the game anymore. Even i simply make an empty mod (like set a field as "override" but dont touch it).
  2. This is the weirdest issue i find in a game! My Skyrim is in Ultra settings and with my realively old ATI HD4870X2 card works "on the edge" 20-24 fps at 1920x1200. Now here the weird thing: i ALT-TAB on windows (maybe to open a website or so) then re-ALT-TAB to the game... OH MY GOSH!!! THE GAME ALMOST TRIPED HIS FRAMES PER SECONDS!!! Now i go even at 60 fps or more! (i disabled frame limiter) And... ops... crap i died. Reload the game... what?? SLOW AGAIN?? Alt-Tab out and in... 60fps. Why this behaviour? This also happen when i load in a new area, the games slows, I Alt-Tab out and in then go fast again. The real question is: Can i keep Skyrim go fast without minimize it to windows every time??
  3. Also tried with no luck. I have Steam Fallout3 but FO3Edit 3.0.15 dont recognize it. Don know if is a registry key issue or a folder issue, i tryed to make a fake Fallout3 folder under C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\ and C:\Program Files (x86)\ but i have always the same error from FO3Edit: Fatal: Could not determine Fallout3 installation path.
  4. I'm doing some cloth but there is a thing... maybe a stupid question... but the Repair item list on GECK should tell the game what items to use to repair that piece of cloth/armor i'm editing. But if is set to "none"? Thats mean that the item is totally not repairable and when broken i can only trash it? Or is repairable only with itself? Or other things? I found the "none" setting on some headgear, expecially on Sheriff Hat (or Lucas Simms hat) which i'm editing right now. Thank you. ^^
  5. I'm doing several Pip-Boy retextures so want to create a GUI with multiple option to let the player to choose which color install. ^^ ............beside this why the Pip-Boy texture folders are SO ricursive and full of duplicates???? -.- oh well... UPDATE: Uh, seems that a bit of copy/paste tech (and a later tweak) is working!
  6. There is no easy way. First you need the skill on draw things then to know a very good graphic program, and the best of all is Photoshop (lastest version is CS5.5). But make the texture is only a step: you need to understand how to make bump mapping, alpha mapping and so on. If is just a simple retexture you can use those of the actual model.
  7. I want to learn FOMOD to create installer for a mod i workin on and i found this nice tutorial: http://zumbs.wordpress.com/2009/11/08/fomm-and-fomods-for-dummies-1/ Anything better and more specific?
  8. Hmm... I have to try this. Anyway my crashes was less frequents when i begin to use fnv4gb as i got a 64 bit O.S. But i think is because there is less use of hardisk as the game can fit more on memory. My crashes are 90% on loading the outside environment when i come from a close structure (tents, valts, sewers...)
