  1. Archive.exe in the skyrim main folder! It seems it works! I repacked the first bsa and added to Skyrim.ini archive load list. Thank you very much! Now I'll try to merge new and old textures: maybe I can save some GB. Edit: and I'm curious to see if i can reduce occasional lags in loading textures
  2. I'm also using lots of mods, but not War in Skyrim. Anyhow I also noticed strange lags from time to time, not fps drops. Maybe they are caused by slower loading of textures. I have the vram full (gtx570) but it was the same even before installing this... don't know if it is normal.
  3. Hi all! I'm trying to tweak textures archive after the two hd pack came out. First try, waiting for an official patch for the dlc, I extracted the two bsa, then I made all corrections listed here. Now I need to repack all the files into two new corrected bsa. I tried with FOMM Bsa Creator: with medium compression the size is almost equal to the original files and under the 2GB limit, but the game crashes at startup while loading my repacked BSA(s). So maybe the FOMM tool isn't compatible with Skyrim? Is there any compatible tool for creating BSA? I found nothing on internet... somebody knows? Thanks
  4. I'm trying an harder way, but without succes for now. Maybe someone can help me: So I extracted the bsa and I made corrections listed here. Now I would repack the bsa. I tried to merge old vanilla textures with the new ones, then I repacked all in a 6GB bsa using FOMM BSA Creator, no compression, then I renamed it as "Skyrim - Textures.bsa": it doesn't work, doesn't read any texture at all. I tought the file was too big, so I remade it compressed (High). It's 3,8GB now but the game doesn't start. Is it possible doing this? Where am I wrong? File path inside the bsa seems to be correct: if I open it with BSA Browser I see "\textures\...." just as for the original.

  6. SOLVED the issue with ENB. The update resetted all settings in SkyrimPrefs.ini turning bFloatPointRenderTarget=1 to 0. :wallbash:
  7. Anyone knows the name of the file related to that effect? So i could try to edit.
  8. After updating Skyrim to v1.4 I see very bad colors on firewoods using enb (my WIP config). This has not happened before. the problem is that it seems Bethesda has changed the color of light emitted from the trunks. There's white and yellow light that was not there before, 'cause of this I'm writing this here rather than on the ENB forum. This is very evident when using enb (I also use a filter to slightly increase the saturation), but looking good, can be seen even in vanilla and is very ugly in my opinion. Is there a way to correct this and bring it back as it was before? thanks I'm using enb v0.102 The image is here edit: I also use a custom texture for the firewood located here: Data\Textures\clutter\firewood\firewood01.dds Data\Textures\clutter\firewood\firewood01_n.dds I tried to delete those files and use vanilla texures but the problem still remains, so the hitch must be elsewhere. I also tried to delete the whole "effects" folder :/
