  1. Also had drag attacks in Windhelm, Riften, Solitude and Whiterun. Only point, which makes such a bit upset, when they kill NPC, which arn`t essentiel for quests, but somehow else...like the Talos-prayer in Whiterun.
  2. I was looking through the web for a good sword idea. ( as my son collects some in his flat, so I need a good idea for his next present) By this, I found some nice ones, which may be a good idea for a mod here. So, have a look at them and let me hear your opinions for them. First one is a spear...as we have very rarely spears in skyrim. Second is a nice sword. Third is a kind of beserk sword from guild wars. Forth is a skull sword...maybe for our vampires ;) Fifth would be nice as sword or dagger...I think, it would look nice as both.
  3. As I like to play bow-hunters, I got a few requests for a mod...hopefully someone of you genius modders is able to do one: Evryone knows...you got a nice target, very far away. So, you need to decide....worth a try or just useless, as arrows won`t ever hit by distance. Is it possible to add a mod, which shows (maybe a colored circle around the aimcross) or something like the bar of the lockpicking mod, just to know, if the target is within range or without. (I´d prefer such just, when playing a quite round....in normal play, such would give a bow-hunter too much advantage, IMHO.) We have some decent bow-mods...mostly just clearer retexes or just overflowed fantasy ones. But sadly no really quality ones...like we have in jaysus-swords or Weps-of-the-third-aera. For example....if I watch the abilitys for building a paladin with a shiny armor and wep, there are some mods out, which fit well. But none for a bow for him/her. (Hopefully I`d explained good enough) Next goes for arrows... There are some retexes out, mostly red or white. I`d prefer the following: White shaft...black stripes on the shafts....black feathers....gold ended feathers. Maybe with a stripe in white or gold within the feather. The quiver may be gold or white, best with black and white tribal. Sure, it would not be a "allday"-outfit, but I prefer quality. (just for the colors, they are my likes....maybe adding some other combinations for all the bow-likers out there;) ) Last request goes for the armor...maybe just a retex (but I`d prefer standalone as usual): There is a mod out already for leather armor black/white, which looks kind of camoflage...I got it on my hunter in my first pics. Just to ask, if someone can do this in reverse colors. I hope, one or more of the above will be possible and one of you is that kind to do it. (...and just to tell...no, I`m not able to do them myself, as I don`t have any knowledge of doing mods. Maybe I´d like to learn, if I would be younger, but I`m far out of that age ;) )
  4. Lol....evry time, I engage a bandit with bows, its usually a one-hit-kill. ;) (probably, thats why I got bows at 100% :P ) ...but anyway... at start of the game, its like it should be...you need some arrows to get one down. After raising the skill up, its usually just as above. same goes for the arrows of them. At start, they do just very small dmg....later on, evry hit does about 8-10% dmg, regardless of my armor. Anyone gots an idea, how to balance such out? IMHO...when raising armor wearing-skill, or/and enchanting the armor, it should effect the dmg...somehow it doesn`t. Maybe its a wrong view by myself...
  5. Probably a few guesses, how to solve: 1.) Name the mod by its replace....like Nightingale Retex....or Nightingale (standalone)... so it would fit the cathegorization we have atm. Ppl. want to know, what will be replaced, not any "nice-fantasy-name"...if all would be sorted by them, nothing could be found anymore. 2.) Adding one more stage to the menu wouldn`t be that much work...as other forums/webspaces offer such too and are easy to manage. (As its just a one-time-change) 3.) For those materials, which are NOT in Skyrim now, its easy to use one chapter like "others" or such. So evrything, which hardly fits to a usual group, may be placed here. Watching the mods, just a small percentage of all mods would fall into this one.
  6. @ Lachdonin: Aye...thats right. As a lot of mods sadly made as retex, its strongly recommended to know, WHAT will be retexted. If someone does a mod, which may be called as Dwarven armor, but will replace an elven armor just to look as dwarven and you search it by function, it may be shown under dwarven...if ever. If the author may named it as "Super Illusion" (just for example), its found there...not by its replace. So, best, if those mods could be placed in lists, what they may show (if standalone) or replace (if retex). Will make ppl choose easier, as nothing is more frustrating as you found a nice mod, add it and find out later on, you just killed another loved mod...just by doubling the retex. @Brknsoul: Sorry for changing color on text...didn`t want to shock ppl. by watching a color on a webpage ;)
  7. First of all, I need to thank all those genius modders out there. Most kept an eye on quality and tryed to do their best to serve all players with their ideas, fantasys and work. By this, we got the possibility to change a great game a bit more and beyond a point, Beth never thought of. ;) But now to my idea: If you watch out for files, their are sorted by their main meaning, like armor, weapon, etc. But in this sections, its sorted by letter. IMHO...it may be better to add another list (sorted by material), so if someone looks for ebony armor f.e., he did not need to scroll through the whole lists as some ppl. like to give their files some fantastic names, but just somewhere in the middle, you find, its ebony or dwarven. Just for those, who may say "OK, so just use the search function"....I did a lot of times, and this function does NOT show all results. Just to avoid this and make such searches for all users a bit more friendly, I ask for my idea. Let me hear your opinions ;)
  8. I`m not sure, where I read it, but somehow I remember the following: Rideable Drags are or were not ment to be implemented. Ok, its easy to know the reason. 1.) You could easy access evry region/area, which you normally can`t. 2.) By the storyline, Drags are ment to rule the world, Odahviing just offers a ride for accessing a special point...not as accepting the DB as master. 3.) Drags as mounts would make horses nearly useless. 4.) Even though there are drags and magic in the storyline, its basicly medival...by overtaking the fantasy-part, the story would change too complete. After all...sure its nice to "ride" a drag like Ultima Online, Sacred or such games, but to keep just a bit feeling of the original Skyrim, it may be better just to fight the drags and talk to the few "good" ones, instead of "owning" evrything. Just my two cents...
