I am having the same problem, looking all over the net for a fix. I did have something installed that casted shadows on everything when, for example a guard was walking around. Looked very effective and even when he would walk past others it would cast their shadow. Am also looking for a 1st person shadow cast... its their for 3rd and would have a lovely effect in 1st person. Again no joy :(
