Creating Custom Outfit from Mod

Recommended Posts

I posted this on Skyrim LE but im actually on SE so allow me to pop this up here

2. Load Skyrim.esm, and any of the mods that you wish to use for the custom outfit

I loaded 3 esm: Skyrim, Dragonborn, Update and Whiterobes.esp

//I use MO2 so Whiterobes.esp didn't appear I had to manually drop the 3 files on the data directory

And I get an Active File Warning Pop-up:

//You have not set a file as the active file. Do you wish to continue?

After that I easily create the outfit but when I hit the preview button this message appear and the preview indeed shows that those files are missing

Couldn't find those nif in my MO2 Data directory and that troubles me.
This is the link to the mod I'm trying to use on a dragonborn DLC NPC

So I left this mod and started porting LOTR Saruman Staff to SSE.
I came upon this sticked guide about porting from Oldrim, and got awared of bsa files not being visible for CK so I used a BSA extractor and then I could preview without having any missing nif error.

I achieved to change Miirak inventory, weapon slot and faceGens to my liking but after I've saved the .esp with all these changes:

  • I cannot see the items or inventory
  • The Outfit Name stills remains as my custom "MiirakIsSaruman"
  • Facegens customs saved

Saved .Esp file info

Result on load

On the other hand, as you can see, non-mod-dependant data saved properly

How should I aproach this?

If there any additional steps when creating mod with mod dependencies?
