Missing Wrists (Female) When wearing Dark Brotherhood Gloves with Dar

Whenever I put on my Dark Brotherhood Set my wrists are missing. It's odd because when I put on the shrouded armor for the first time it was fine. But after I took it off for a second to see another outfit, I put it back on just to see the wrists are missing. It is also happening to Astrid.

Either the body piece or the hand piece is set to replace the wrist slot as well it's normal default when there is nothing to visually replace the wrist. It's been known to happen with certain combinations of mod gear and stock gear. But that is typically only a problem for the player and not NPCs. If it is happening with an NPC then there is most likely a mod that has adjusted the body slots for one or more of the items worn.

Well, I did have the female skeleton mod added but removed it just incase that was the problem. I also have the Female animations mod along with the Player exclusive animation path mod. Which requires FINIS. I also have the temptress race mod, and the character i'm on that is having the dark shrouded armor wrist missing problem is a temptress. Think those could be a problem? The rest of the Dark shrouded armor is fine except for the gauntlets which just makes the wrist disappear, also when I don't equip the body armor on and only have the gauntlets on, the gauntlets look very odd and fused into the skin.

No idea. I have no experience with FNIS or changing animations. Anything that tweaks the skeleton could be a possible cause. You could try setting the weight in the console. If setting the weight to 0 or 100 fixes the problem then it very well could be a gap issue rather than a body slot issue. But you would (or should) see that no matter what armor is being worn.

 

Since you say it only happens with the DB gauntlets, I'm still inclined to believe that it is a body slot issue rather than a gap issue. Have you added any mods that affect the DB gauntlets since you first tried on the DB armor set?

 

One thing you could try is opening the CK and loading up Skyrim master files, locate the DB gauntlet armor form & the armor addon form and remove all body slot entries apart from hand. It would benefit to extract the mesh from the BSA and check in Nifskope to see the assigned body part slot. The slot on the mesh must be kept on the forms or the item won't show at all. Save your new plugin and load it last (before any bashed patch etc..)

 

If the problem is indeed a body slot issue then making that change to the gauntlet should allow it to show properly but it would only patch the problem not determine the source.
