Any chance of a dead is dead mod for Oblivion? (Game deletes your save if you die) there's a few for Skyrim so it would be nice for TES4 to have one too. Is it even possible with Oblivion's engine?

By the way, I will do the opposite in Skyrim as this appeals more to me: Death Alternative - Your Money or Your Life at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)

The Telephone box added by some odd modder, the Dr Who's box, how it now ended up in Imperial City is, well, not impossible really. It goes back and forth in time and between worlds... So when you get close to death, you can get ported to it. It makes you feel like Dr Who, who gets born again, whithout the need of loading a new game, if you did not deleted it that is. I would never delete any games if it not are to old or broken save files, who are best to delete immediately. I screwed my save file 2 months ago in Oblivion... The current one is better. That happens when I make to brutal changes in the same play through. All i do is betatest my stuff until I break it, and I sure did back then. Sh't happens. :D I do not mind start all over next week if needed but I really do not need to do that.

We all play different. I will play Hardcore in Skyrim next weekend, Frostfall, camping and so much junk I DL:ed and build the town Blackthorn too. But focus at Trading, our next Oblivion WIP. The Merchant Stall. So I will have fun in Skyrim, test a lot of new stuff, get inspiration for the next Oblivion WIP. I had fun last weekend, but had not installed any hardcore stuff. It is time to do that now.

That's the thing.... I used to use those hardcore mods in Skyrim, Frostfall, hunger etc.. all to try to make the most brutal realistic survival simulator I could, but you can uninstall all of that s#*! and install just a dead is dead mod, and have a much better game if playing hardcore is your thing.

This is the one I use for Skyrim - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57269

Simple, lightweight, and no screwing with files if you die to try and save your savefile. One death and your save is gone forever.

Thanks but I guess I pass. :D I also loves my new elf I made, the cutest ever. I post a screenie after this weekend has ended. I DLed so much stuff this time that I have ever done, putting every description inside Google docs as i have no Internet at my flat, saved them as PDF on my USB drive.

One mod that really sticks out with excellent explanations about Skyrim is this one:

Cleaned Skyrim SE Textures

I have 2 mods that sink my performance and I will flush them. What this author did was to clean up and re-scale a lot of textures back to the size they had 2011. I so looking forward to test it as the huge lag I have right now and stalling at a stair in Whiterun and at some other places really kill the joy of that game. I will arrive at my flat in my small town in 9 hours from now and stay there for 2 days, only focus at my new setup. I guess I cant start playing until tomorrow. But I uninstall all stuff I suspect is causing the lag and install the clean texture mod and test it tonight. I must see the performance increase soonest possible, it is a MUST. I love performance. :D her textures do look better than the original too. She explains how she did it. Nothing new to me though... But maybe for someone else? We can all learn from it, to keep up the best performance really.
