I just came up with a cool idea, how about the newspaper(s) have hubs in some of the major cities that act as both a HQ for the newspapers to go and sell their papers but as also a post office.

By a post office I mean you could send things across skyrim similar to how it was done in FNV with the mojave express, this would be great as you could send your heavy gear to your house for easy pickup. Maybe the heavier the object or the more objects there are or even a weight threshold that anything over it would cost more in tax or something.

The post office could also be used to order things such as a rare ingredient/potion, a piece of armour or even an enchantment request to the college. This would be great for those people who don't specialise in smithing or alchemy or enchanting but still want the abilities available to them. Of course though there should be a downside to this such as the fact that you can't get the ability to enhance certain pieces of armour (as you wouldn't have the smithing perk) and that it'll cost a lot as you are also paying for the ingredients (e.g daedra hearts and ebony for deadric armour sets).

One last thing that would also make this mod very immersive would be the ability to buy full daedric armour at level 1 but for it to cost a lot of money (say $30-40,000), but it should lower the higher level you get.

Nah. At this point, the mod totally gets out of it's track, these two things aren't even related IMHO. What if player wants one of them and doesn't want the other? If you mean a separate "post office/ordering" mod, that would be cool and make sense.

But ordering high level piece of armor is really kind of like cheating, if you ask me. I could agree with everything but except ordering armors, the hell, how anyone other than Dragonborn is able to craft mighty outlandish Daedric Armors, at level 1? Isn't that highly immersion breaking?

Player has to deal with somethings himself, if he really wants to become OP in game. But I certainly support ingredients, potions and enchantment ordering. It would be cool to order some cure disease potions since they are not always found. It really is a downside when you really need a specific set of ingredients and you just cannot find them anywhere. College of Winterhold actually accepts enchanting offers of regular NPC's, but why not Dragonborn? Isn't it unfair that really every player has to invest in Enchanting skill points to get some decent magical gear? This would further add the immersion. Though, enchantments shouldn't be OP at all. They should be average at maximum.

And lastly, the ordered items should take some time to arrive (1 or 2 days?) and player should give away his desired equipment for a period of time if he wishes to get it enchanted.

Actually looking back on it I think I can agree with not having ordered armours as an option.

But on the college of winterhold and enchanting thing I think it'll be good to have it that you need to send a note with the enchantment and the piece of armour you want and for it to take at least 2-3 to deliver back to the 'postoffice' you sent it to. Also I agree on the low-mid level enchanting stuff as otherwise the enchanting tree would be useless.

But anyway we should get back to the main request...

How many newspapers should there be?

and What should they be called?

Cause as soon as we get those down I may start on an edition talking about helgen

youre losing the focus of the discussion, the post office idea is not a bad one but what about the newspaper mod the post is about? i believe the frist step for this work is try to contact a talented modder and see if he is interested in making this project, then if the newspaper mod work well the post office idea could or could not be implemented.

ok sure.......

What should this newspaper be called?

Imperial: The black horse courier (why not?)

stormcloack: The horns of freedom, or The chronicles of the bear

The name 'The horns of freedom' sounds good but I think I like 'The Chronicles of the bear' the most, though I think it should be more on windhelm than the stormcloaks themselves as windhelm is the second city of skyrim (after winterhold) that was made by the atmorans of old.

How about this; "The True Voice Of Skyrim"?

That should be the stormcloak/nord newspaper's slogan!

Well, yeah, if this isn't gonna happen, there's no point in discussing such matters.

Also I didn't like the chronicles of bear, as I said, it doesn't make the stormcloaks' newspaper look sophisticated and intelligent. That name sounds beastly and uneducated...

Also I am not sure if newspapers really need a slogan to be added to the end of their articles. But "The True Voice Of Skyrim" sounded good enough to me. Or just "Voice Of Skyrim" .
