Stage 4 Vampire still hated (Dawnguard) Possible fix

Hey I didn't know where else to post this. But i'd like to post some helpful information in case others run into this wildly

occurring bug. Many people have posted all over the internet how after buying Dawnguard, they are still hated at

stage 4 vampirism and no mod, no fix seems to actually fix it. Hopefully, I've found the answer as it fixed my character.

 

Note: You must first cure yourself of Vampirism!!!

 

Open up the console and type this in

Help Sanguinare

(For me i just typed help sang.)

 

 

Find the sanguinare disease, it should be listed as a spell.

There should also be two of them. I found that my game was adding

the vanilla disease instead of the Dawnguard disease. Look for the dawnguard

version of the disease, usually just the one below the first Sanguinare. it should

also be listed as 02,03,01 depending on your game, while the vanilla version has

000 at the beginning.

 

now type this in the console.

Player.Addspell xxxxxxxxx

where the x's are add the ID of your Dawnguard sanguinare.

I don't know if this is an actual fix for everyone, but I tested it out

and I was no longer hated. When I reverted to the vanilla spell

I was hated again.
