Head Collector Mod

Depending if you are collecting these heads from the Bounty quests and not just random npcs,

it would end up being a preset male nord face and occasionally a preset male orc face.

Which does not sound very hard in the aspect of head models.

If one were to take it a step forward, one could show the head actually being carried by the pc,

with a possible blood effect.

You mean like wearing the heads on a belt or something?

The Glenmoril witches were done in the following manner.

A standard Hagraven is spawned and fought

The witch head is a death item found on the body

When the head item is removed Hagraven body is disabled and replaced by a headless Hagraven body.

This is why sometimes the body ends up rigid and standing upright or in a totally different position.

As far as standard humanoid NPCs, the head is a separate mesh. Each NPC has it's own NIF file. In theory it could be used as the NIF file for an object (easiest would be a "helmet" I think). Said NPCs could then have it available as a death item. But making the head visually disappear from the body (or ground if kill move decapitated) might be the most difficult to accomplish unless one were to go the route of the Glenmoril witches and replace the whole body with a headless version.

Just think about it.... lining the castle walls with mannequins sporting the heads of your victims :P

Would you happen to know where the decapitated head mesh is?

All I could find is a bunch of decapitatedhead meshes in:

meshes\\actors\\character\\character assets

thing is though it's just the bottom part of the neck, where's the rest?
