Several parts can share the same material (thus the same texture set), so you can just model the armor and map UV as one single mesh.

I'm not 100% sure of it , but unless you separate the object into gloves/chest/boots there may be some bug when someone equips the armor and a set of boots/gloves from a different armor.

Well... LHammond,,, i hav actually begun modeling your reference armor....
Great! Thanks.

but anyhow ,,, can you refer me to someone who knows how to when i got the modeling done???
Sorry I'm not much help in the DA universe as I don't keep up in it but it seems like you got some good information from kzelsama. (Thanks kzelsama!)

I wasn't even aware that it was such a pain to get new armor in the game at this moment since I "thought" I had seen mods adding new armor meshes already. I guess "new" was referring to re-textures.

If you ever decide to do anything for Oblivion, you can come to me with just about any question and I can answer it or know somebody who does. ;)

Good luck with the project.

Kzelsama,,thank you for your comment, but i base this armor from a female figure and making it look a bit mode like female. so it really doesnt completely resemble the refernce images. and the texturing part is now complete, i would say, the model is now ready to be brought into the DA la .... can i email you with the files ....

due to the original design of the armor was somewhat boring(personal opinion), so i decided to add aging detail into the texture when texturing it in hope of adding visual interest on it, making it looks like its been worn quite a lot and into countless battle. and the following is what the model looks like with textures

here is in the Maya viewport
