wesman63 Posted August 8, 2014 Share Posted August 8, 2014 (edited) Just as the title says, I run a stable game with very few mods but when I try to open my strongbox in lakeview manor I immediately CTD. I have some awesome armor in there from a while back that I want to get back. Has anyone else had this problem? This save was transfered from the console version. MysteriousSquall Posted August 9, 2014 Share Posted August 9, 2014 Hey wesman63, There are 2 possible reasons for this. 1) There is an item in that strongbox that is conflicting with a mod you've installed. However this is unlikely. 2) There is a massive list of items in that strongbox and the game is crashing to load in so much at once. I'm not going to comment about the fact that you've for some reason brought a console save over to PC, but just to confirm. If you have the Unofficial Skyrim Updates installed they could have also changed items that wouldn't have been changed on the console version, which supports reason 1.
