  1. Hey jygg4lag, You say you've only just installed Bandoliers: Bags and Pouches? I've looked at your List and realised you didn't install the optional files for making it compatible with Male Armours. Also you may want to try taking a look at this. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49195/? Simply put, it may not be the follower mod that's causing the problem but the Bandoliers. For instance something loading on the follower that the games isn't patched for. Try disabling Bandoliers and see if that also fixes the problem. If it does simply install the patches and sorted. If not then it's likely something has changed a file reguarding followers and that's causing the problem. Been a while since I used Bandoliers. Does it have a Installation Menu? Where you choose options? If so, does it have an option reguarding followers or patches built in? Because you could have selected a patch for something that you haven't got installed. Anyway just a few exmaples of things that could go wrong. MS.
  2. @tejano2828, I'm not entirely sure who this is aimed at. If it's aimed at me, then I've already watched the video and I'm currently playing with uGrids=11 on an 8 hour save with no problems so far. Even if it's not aimed at me, thanks for contributing the video directly into the thread. Should make it easier for others wanting to watch it without going looking for it. @LillysDad, My pleasure, but please for the love of god back up your save data. I might not take responsibility, but I will feel guilty. MS.
  3. I've left you a reply on my uGrid Thread aswell as possible changes. MS.
  4. Hey Lillysdad2009, If your PC isn't great, then the changes you make are compromises. Drag all your LOD settings up max and load the game, do you get FPS Drop? If you do then you need to decide what it is you're ultimately after. Drop the AA and AF down a few notches and see if your FPS increases again. When all is done, if you've still not got the desired effect and got no FPS drop, then you should look at altering the Skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini in My Documents/My Games/Skyrim. You can change the draw distance here for grass & such. SkyrimPrefs.ini Changes (In order as you scroll down each section) Finally if nothing helps and you feel you must resort to altering your uGridToLoad here's how it's done. MS.
  5. Hey allomerus, I can definitely understand not wanting to mess with Load Order, but a simple solution is write down the numbers they were in the Load Order. So even if you move them you can put them back. Also as long as they remain relatively close to where they were, there shouldn't be any major issues. As far as I know they should both be above PerMa in the Load Order yes? If that's the case then you can move them as long as they both remain above PerMa in the Load Order. Let us know if this resolves your issue, so others having this problem may benefit the solution. MS.
  6. Thanks for the replies. @Shivala, 7 is not the max amount of uGrids you can activate, you can add me on Steam and I'll stream my game running with 11 uGrids active. 7 is probably the number with least amount of problems. I did check out some videos on youtube, though I'm not sure if I watched a video about uGrids by Gopher. Thanks for that, I'll check his video out. It was Gopher's video I used to install Project ENB with the performance .ini settings and that was just too much for my little system to run. I have played with my skyrim.ini quite a bit, which offered little to no increase in draw distance at all. Which is why I resorted to increasing the uGrids, I was skeptical of messing with something that could mess up my game, but I played for 2 hours yesterday with no issues. @SaurusMaximus I do use ENBoost and I'll check out SweetFX thanks. It might be that I've not gotten far enough into the game to encounter issues yet. After all I'm playing with Requiem so my game progress is rather slow considering what it should be after 2 hours of gameplay. I might make a video and post it to youtube, to show the difference in draw distance that I'm experiencing. I honestly can't believe that upgrading from W7 to W8 can offer this much gain in performance. That's what I'll do, time to make a video. Thanks for the replies guys, I'll make a video which should clear a few things up. Also I'll try and move to another area in the game and see if I can make some problems appear. MS.
  7. Unfortunately I can't run ENBs, I just tried using Project ENB Fantasy and all I get is infinite loading screens. It's not that the game is bland, it's just that when I make the character look forward, he sees lots of detail, then it just stops and everything else is just plain ugly bald wasteland. Like a perimeter around my character. I don't mind if it's really far away, but not being able to see the keep from Whiterun is a real piss take. Higher uGrid has solved that issue, like you said I may encounter script errors which is going to be a bit bothersome. I'll play for a couple of hours and see what kinds of problems crop up. Luckily I created a new character with the higher uGrid count and my old character has the normal count. So hopefully it won't cause any problems. Thanks for the input, when i get a new G.C I'll try a ENB again. MS.
  8. Hmm, I have a similar issue, but it's not there all the time. Certain guards will have a green glow around them for a few seconds when I enter Whiterun. This is because my graphics drivers are from Catalyst 14.4, the recommended drivers for me are 12.2 or 12.3. This could be a similar case for you also. MS.
  9. It's a driver issue. Are you per chance using an AMD Graphics card? MS.
  10. Hey allomerus, This is a load order problem. You've got at least 2 mods in your list that change or add magic spells to your game. Simply put them both together in the magic list as such. 1] Midas Magic 2] Hogwarts Stuffs and switch them around 1] Hogwarts Stuffs 2] Midas Magics This should solve your problem. If it's not solving your issue then move both further down the list. Finally if this isn't sorting your issue then my guess would be that one of the mods is changing a value on the spell. Load up the CK and load only the Skyrim.esm, find the spell and make a note/ take a screenshot of it's values. Then load up each of your Magic Mods one at a time and find the spell again to confirm the values. Make changes as necessary. MS.
  11. Hey Guys & Gals, So here's a little background information as to why I want advice and a general discussion on uGridstoLoad. My PC is by no means High-End, let's get that out of the road first. I recently did a brand new install of my OS from Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit to Windows 8.1 Pro and one of the things I noticed was my games were running a lot better than they were before. So when I was a W7 user I tried everything to make my Skyrim look amazing, but here's the kicker my computer's crap and it would constantly run into BSOD, so when I reinstalled Skyrim I new that I would just have to make do without the nice fancy graphics and go for a gritty realism play through. For those of you who like computer specs to see how crap my machine really is, here's the specs. OS: Windows 8.1 Pro Processor: AMD A6-3500 APU w/Radeon HD Graphics (3CPUs) ~2.1GHz Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6530D 3GB VRAM RAM: 5GB DDR3 1337MHz Now first of all, even though my G.Card says 3GB, it's really only got 1GB 2 of it is brought in from else where. I don't understand how this works, just what I was told by the Tech at the shop. Right, When I was W7 I played at about 20 FPS? W8 I play at about 40-50 FPS. I don't use any ENBs because they make my game crash and my PC cries at me with a Blue Screen. But recently I've noticed how bad my Skyrim actually looks. Bland Colours, Draw Distance etc etc From Whiterun you can see a Fort in the distance, not the tower where you fight the dragon, but just passed it. I can't see it, like at all, untill I get really close. My settings for view distance is maxed out on everything. So I started experimenting with Mods that change the Graphics and I found one on the Nexus that takes the texture files and compresses them so I installed it, the mod literally broke my Distant Textures, but that's beside the point as I got another mod to fix that (hopefully). Here's where it gets interesting. My FPS jumped another 10 or so, so I thought right let's look at this uGrid everyone keeps talking about and I've ramped it up to 11 along side the uInterior or uExterior to 144 (I dunno which, I'll paste it from my .ini at the bottom. Now I tested a few uGrid values all the way up to 20, which aside from the large load times worked quite well until another mod (frostfall) claimed that script latency was slow or something and then my game crashed. Anyway I settled on 11. So I'm wondering, instead of using uGrid. Should I just use an ENB and go for the fancier graphics? I don't want to break my game by installing something that won't work and then end up having to reinstall the whole game again. What's you thoughts? and What are the long term effects of a high uGrid count? Thanks in advance for your advice and discussion. MS. P.S I should add that I can now run the game on AA x8 and AF x12. Which was impossible before. Here's my .ini for those who are interested.
  12. Hey Guys & Gals, So I'm pulling my hair out here. For the life of me I can't find out how you create a Preset Loadout for Less Intrusive HUD 2. I've installed the FISS Patch from LIH2 page, both are installed correctly, I have rearranged my HUD ingame and now I can't save the layout. Been through the Forums, The Mod Page, even google has failed me. Is it a button, some external software I have to run? Can someone please just point me to a guide on how to Create a Preset for LIH2? Thanks in advance. MS EDIT: For those who are looking for an answer to this problem. You install FISS and drop it to the very bottom of the list, all menus for creating presets for many, many, many, MANY! Mods will appear in there respective MCM Menus. Now if you'll excuse my retardedness, I must go take a cold shower and whip myself with a spatular as punishment for my stupidity. MS
  13. Well there you have it, depending on your PC specs you may have a good chance of pulling it off. Now I hate to rain down on your parade, but the fact is you've already experienced issues. This means that you may end up the same way, but still worth a try since this is the way you want to play Skyrim. MS.
  14. What everyone is saying to you is this, you CAN do it, but your save is going to bloat if you do and eventually it'll be the same either way. You could test it. Install a Mod, give yourself a level boost, complete the mod, do the next one. Something that would take you what? A few days, would take you half an hour? Then you could see for yourself if this save bloating is really going to occur like we think it will. Though the only person who can really test it is you. Try it and let us know the results. MS.
  15. Then something has been permenantly replaced in the game files. Sorry to say this but it looks like you're going to lose your save data. I'd recommend at this point, moving your skyrim installation to another folder and reinstalling it via steam. Reinstall the mods and see if you have issues now. If you still have issues after reinstalling Skyrim then there's an incompatability with one of the mods that's been missed. The order I usually install mods in is this. Skyrim > DLCs > Unofficial Patches > SKSE > FNIS > Animations > Textures > Everything Else. I find installing things in the correct order and overwriting files in the correct order is better than installing everything and hoping something like BOSS or LOOT can fix the installation. Sorry i can't be of more help, but like I said keep the old installation (just moved) and maybe someone else can offer you some advice to fix that, but for now I suggest you reinstall Skyrim. MS
  16. Have you checked all the requirements for the new mods? Perhaps you are missing necessary files for the mods to work / be compatible? Or perhaps one of the new mods is incompatible with one of the older mods. Can you check this as a possible cause? MS.
  17. Hey Guys & Gals, So I recently started a bran new play through on Skyrim, Fresh Install, new OS infact so yeah Skyrim was definately wiped clean. This time I decided to go with AFT instead of UFO after watching De-Facto Man's Requiem play through on YouTube. Now everything was working fine apart from a few hickups with the graphics and Load Order which is now solved. Whenever I give my follower (Vanilla Jenassa) a Weapon, she simply won't equip it! She equips everything else from Armor, Shields, Cloaks, Jewelry etc but for the life of me, she won't equip a weapon. Anyone else having/had this issue? If so how did you resolve it? I've got AFT right near the bottom of the list, I think it's like 3rd from bottom so I don't believe it's Load Order, but I'll try anything at this point. MS EDIT: I found the problem. Here's how to sort it out for future reference. Load up Generate FNIS for Users and at the bottom there are check boxes. Make sure to untick *XP32's "New animation for 1H Weapon". I don't know why this is causing a problem, but I have ran the game multiple times with the option ticked and unticked and I'm 100% positive this is the cause. Anyway anyone else have this issue, make sure to untick that box and test it. MS.
  18. Doubtful I'm also using the beta build and experiencing no issues. Stupid question, but have you tried starting a new game? If so did it work? MS.
  19. CBBE is compatible with both EEO and Bijin's. After reading up on it, I can use something called TexBlendLite? Provided by Caliente so it's not a really big issue. The neck seams are barely noticable.
  20. So I fixed this issue and for future reference in case anyone else comes across this problem. After installing all my mods and coming across this problem the solution is this. Uninstall: CBBE & Bijin's Warmaidens then Reinstall them both, CBBE First then Bijin Second and place Bijin's at the very bottom of the Load Order, but above the Requiem Indifferent.esp. So the Load Order Should be Requiem > EEO > Bijin's Warmaidens > Requiem - Indifferent.esp I'll mark the name as solved, though there is still the issue with the neck seam. MS
  21. Hey Wylfred, So you've installed all these mods and can run the game fine, until you activate a quest marker? If that's the case, why are you activating multiple markers? Also to answer your question, yes that would work. Start a clean save and progressively adding in more quest mods should technically work, though even if you complete a quest I'm not 100% sure that it stops all scripts running that are related to the mod. Give it a try and let us know if it works. MS.
  22. Hey Foxi2, Just to check since you said you were away for a while playing Fallout. Since returning, have you updated SKSE and installed the latest version? Did any of the new mods add animations? and if so, did you run FNIS after installing? Simple things can be forgotten and then remedied easily. Let me know if this was the case. MS.
  23. Hey Guys & Gals, So I decided I wanted to have the most immersive playthrough of Skyrim yet, yet I'm hindered at every turn. I've tried troubleshooting this myself and for the life of me I can't get it working properly. So let's get the details out of the way first. I'm playing with Requiem, Frostfall, Hunterborn and some other stuff to make it as hard as physically possible, but the problem doesn't lie here. It's actually with the characters looks. Requiem is mentioned because it changes details on the races etc. Now I'm using CBBE V3 Curvy, Ethereal Elven Overhaul & Bijin's Warmaidens Legendary. I've ran LOOT and it reordered my files and my game runs flawlessly, the problem is the character textures. I chose Janessa as my companion, because she's in Whiterun at the start and easy to get. EEO is ment to take away the long faces and make elves look slightly more human and it works, they look cool, Bijin's ment to make her look hot as hell! and yet she looks like a screwed up version of the vanilla Janessa with a scruntched up face. Using LOOT is not fixing this issue. I'm willing to reinstall the mods since it's no effort at all and sort them out properly, but what order should I reinstall them? And what Load Order should I put them in? At the moment they are Requiem > Bijin > EEO. With Requiem near the top of the list and those two around midway down, is this the right place for these mods? Any help would be greatly appreciated as it's seriously starting to put me off playing my game -_- (I don't like things not working and can't focus if they aren't). Thanks in advance. MS.
  24. Hey Ryugami11, Just a quick side note, you said you're Xbox Controller crashes your laptop? It's the Drivers for it, I had the same issue a while back. Reinstall the drivers for it and when you're playing Skyrim Disable the Vibration (Vibration off is a must on laptops). This should help and also anyone else who reads this having the same issue.
  25. Hey there, Well Boombro gave you Hand to Hand, so I'll pitch in a few as well. I've not checked the requirements for these so I'm not entirely sure if these will need FNIS (for new animations) but luckily FNIS doesn't get installed, it just sits in a file and runs if/when you click it. Anyway here's the mods. 1) Unarmed Warfare: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50416/? 2) Unarmed Fighting Styles: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50834/? 3) Martial Arts: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9421/? 4) New Unarmed Hand to Hand Skill: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/14387/? Hope these are what you're looking for.
