Need Help Finding A PC

I'm a huge fan of Fallout & Skyrim, and after finding this site I want to try out some of these mods.

 

I'm a console gamer, but I want to get a PC that will let me play these games & mods without any issues. I've been looking it up but every website says something different & I have no clue about PC gaming.

 

What PC should I get for gaming/using mods for around $1,500-$2,000?

 

Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance.

im sure a mod will move it over, but for future reference i figured id mention it.

 

now as far as the computer goes, i dont have enough time to get into a full discussion, but in short, with that sort of budget, you can get a very good computer. As almost anyone on this site will tell you, you should build it. you will get the best computer for your money, then any pre built system on any website. with that we can all help you, and building a PC is actually very easy....as far as websites go however, if you are against building one, check out ibuypower.com and cyberpowerpc.com, two sites that let you, sort of, build your own computer.
