Shiddlepong
Ok I'm really mad because I JUST tried to post this but now I have to write it again! I'm going to shorten it because I can't be bothered to write it out again -_- Now this is stuck in bold. FFS! A while ago, skyrim gave me an ILS (Infinite load screen) when i continued, loaded ANY save or started a new game with either SKSE loader or the default launcher. I tried deactivating all mods and it didn't work and then I launched it with TESV.exe it worked but I NEED SKSE!!! I then restored the file to the 11th of... I can't remember... last month. It worked! Woohoo! Yesterday, it happened AGAIN and when I went to restore it OF COURSE there were no files to restore from >:( Help me PLEEEEASE HELP!!!!!! Valkasha
You saved the game with mods that require SKSE, so use SKSE. What's wrong with using SKSE in the first place? It's faster, it fixes long loading screens and is a requirement for like 50% of the good mods on here. Oubliette
Your irritation does not need to be my irritation and you posted this twice. SKSE is stable and pretty simple, if there's a problem when you load with the latest version of SKSE you should have steam verify your game files. Sounds simple but it really is usually the problem. If requiring your files from steam does not immediately fix your problem - try a restart of your computer, then check your files again. Yup, all that yelling and it's probably that simple. Spent a day or so working with a similar issue myself and I can assure you there's nothing wrong with the latest SKSE. If you have problems with SKSE it's a problem with your Skyrim files and/or Steam (in my case Steam uninstalled everything - twice).

thekrimzonghost
Ok so here are some thoughts first off ditch windows unless you are going to run sandbox virtual drives...if you are going to run sandbox virtual drives use Ubuntu you see you can have multiple drives configured the same thus making one of them for mod experimentation so as not to damage your other install of skyrim... you should never be dependant on only one install of anything in this day in age with gigs and TBs of HD space. Now to get to the root of your problems ILS...sadly happens to a lot of guys...they say 1 in 6...Anyway I found that it was when I downloaded UNP clothing merch (This mod edits your map) and then a high res armor mod that I had the conflict I believe you can edit your Skyrim.ini to allow 360 viewing of the map go into the map and do a 360 rotation with the mouse and try reloading the cell. alternatively create a virtual drive reinstall steam and skyrim drag and drop all of your mods and saves to said new drive this fixed it for me. -TKG

StinkyButtFart
I had this same problem. Turned out to be Apachii Hair for some reason. It was working fine and then one day i uninstalled all my mods, then re-enabled them a few at a time, when I got to Apachii Hair it did the infinite load screen thing and I disabled it and hey presto it workedUPDATE: Now I have the same problem as Shiddlepong and no, Apachii Hair wasn't activated! I've tried verifying the game cache but it tells me to close all active programs or tools and I haven't got anything opened. Plz help?
